This review is to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the recent service experience at Rainbow Vehicle Service Department. My wife brought her vehicle in for service due to a faulty thermostat (stuck op the recent service experience at Rainbow Vehicle Service Department. My wife brought her vehicle in for service due to a faulty thermostat (stuck open), resulting in: * No air conditioning: A critical safety issue, especially in hot climates. Fogged Windshield. * Reduced power steering: Compromising vehicle control and driver safety. * Inaccurate temperature gauge: Making it difficult to monitor engine temperature. * Check engine light illuminated: Indicating a potential engine problem. * Parking sensor error: A minor inconvenience but indicative of potential electrical issues. Despite acknowledging the severity of these issues (especially the thermostat malfunction), the service department: * Refused to keep the vehicle for repairs: Citing excuses like staff shortages, parts backorders, and the holiday season. * Insisted the vehicle was "safe to drive": Despite the significant safety implications of the issues listed above. * Refused to provide written confirmation of vehicle safety: Despite my repeated requests. I am deeply concerned about the safety of my wife and other drivers due to the service department's negligence and dismissive attitude. The lack of urgency and professionalism displayed by the service advisors and mechanics is unacceptable. I have been a loyal GMC customer for many years and have purchased numerous vehicles from them. However, this experience has severely damaged my trust in the brand and in Rainbow specifically. I am seriously considering switching to a different vehicle brand and will certainly never purchase a vehicle from Rainbow. I request the opportunity to speak with the General Manager or Owner of Rainbow to discuss these serious concerns and how the service department can improve its operations and customer service. More
