Took my car in for a leak In the headliner. Got my car back with water damage because they left it out during hurricane. Carpet was soaked and my car had a musty mold smell because they left it sit outsid back with water damage because they left it out during hurricane. Carpet was soaked and my car had a musty mold smell because they left it sit outside with the windows up for a week waiting for a part. They wanted to charge me $1100 for new carpet for damage that occurred when in their possession knowing it was coming in for a leak. Ed Murrin was nasty when I spoke to him about the damage. Became defensive and aggressively put in writing that he would replace carpet after arguing and telling me I was insulting him by asking for it in writing. Threw a pen after breaking it from writing so hard on a business card. My dash display came back with a film discoloration and they will not replace. Finally had new carpet installed. Justine in customer service was awesome. Unfortunately the whole experience was awful despite Justin being as great as he was. Had to take my car directly to a detail shop and pay $150 to have the soaked carpets shampooed. Still had a musty smell before dealership finally replaced the carpet because I had in writing how much damage was present from the wate when detail shop received it right from the dealership. More

Team Rafferty provides a friendly, professional, organized environment as well as a clean showroom AND service center. Jeanette is so knowledgeable about Subaru and cars in general. Hello Rafferty!It was time for us to trade in our 2007 Hello Rafferty! It was time for us to trade in our 2007 Forester that we bought from a friend (used ) in 2010. Prior to our visit, (September 23, 20 Hello Rafferty! It was time for us to trade in our 2007 Forester that we bought from a friend (used ) in 2010. Prior to our visit, (September 23, 2020) we communicated with Rafferty staff on-line. The communication was informative and did not pressure us into a decision. (we communicated with Marissa, I believe) The moment we entered the parking lot, we felt comfortable due to "safety" signs to protect us from Covid and our warm greeting from masked Jeanette as we entered the building. Jeanette commented on the year model of our Forester as she observed our pulling into the parking lot. We immediately knew she was knowledgeable. Jeanette made us feel welcomed and proceeded to inquire about our car and reveal her affection for Subaru and its quality. Jeanette especially emphasized the Rafferty staff's patience and willingness to please. When we were reaching the step for a "test drive" Jeanette took our licenses to be copied and she noticed that my birthday was the next day. The test drive was informative and Jen was extremely patient as I fired my questions. Covid wise---Jen wore a mask the entire time (as we did), wiped down the vehicle before we entered, kept her distance and made hand sanitizer readily available. We returned to Rafferty to pick up our Forester 2 on my birthday and I received a cake and a gift from Jeanette. Ha! To top it off, a balloon was attached to our new car. Ok, who does that? I appreciate that a salesperson went out during a pandemic-to buy gifts for a new customer--went shopping for a stranger. The gifts and greetings were wonderful--but--more importantly--Jeanette's information, honesty and advice were exceptional. Jeanette gave me her cell number. I told her that she might be sorry she gave this to me--believe me-- I had many questions. This was my 65th bday so therefore, I am technologically challenged. Seriously, my husband, Lou , and I were so very satisfied with our experience.. We are blessed to have been lucky enough to deal with Jeanette. Our finance man was also excellent and personable. (Josh) Josh was informative and patient. He really eased us into understanding the warranty extension. Josh's patience gave us time to think about our past experiences with technology. It also gave us time to contemplate our future plans of possibly traveling with our Forester when our world is somewhat back to normal. Interesting--patience, not pressure encouraged us to go the extra mile with the warranty. Thanks to all-- I hope to see Jeanette and Josh again. Rafferty is a superior dealership with a long history of superior product and service. I have been a Rafferty customer for at least twenty years.
