We were very happy both with the dealership and with our salesperson, Mark Weber. It was a pleasure to find a dealership that had an Altima with exactly the options we were looking for on it. In addition, salesperson, Mark Weber. It was a pleasure to find a dealership that had an Altima with exactly the options we were looking for on it. In addition, Mark Weber's great personality and great salesmanship made buying a new Nissan Altima, with my elderly parents, a wonderful experience. My parents are the car buyers, and Mark gladly spent quite a bit of time answering all their questions and making sure they were comfortable with the car they would be purchasing. We were very grateful to have the opportunity to have a salesperson who made the car buying process so easy, and even enjoyable! We would definitely buy from Freehold Nissan again, and would specifically hope to deal with Mark Weber again when we were there! Thank you! More
I had some concerns regarding purchasing a vehicle due to a poor credit score. I submitted a pre application and spoke with someone prior to coming in to the dealership. They looked at my credit history and a poor credit score. I submitted a pre application and spoke with someone prior to coming in to the dealership. They looked at my credit history and gave me a realistic opinion on my financing options. When I went into the dealership, I told them what I was looking for and where I needed my payments to be. They guided me to the best vehicle which provided the options I was looking for while still fitting in my budget. I came in looking at new cars but they also showed me a late model used car with very low mileage which allowed me to get everything I was looking for in a car while staying with in my desired payment range. Everyone I spoke with was extremely friendly and helpful and my salesman had great knowledge of all the cars and options we looked at. I would highly recommend this dealership. More

I called in about a vehicle I seen over the internet and talked to a salesman named Shay Patten, who seemed un-knowledgeable, but maybe he's young and/or inexperienced. Because he had such a hard time answe talked to a salesman named Shay Patten, who seemed un-knowledgeable, but maybe he's young and/or inexperienced. Because he had such a hard time answering some-what basic questions, he referred me over to his manager, chris murphy. After I explained that I'm 6 hours away from Freehold NJ, and that I'd like to come down and work out a deal, I was told to put down $500 to secure the vehicle for 48 hours. I told Chris (at 10am) I would be leaving work (taking half a day off) and would be down sometime this evening. Anyways, I'm heading up the parkway, when I got a call from the salesman, Shay, who told me, "another salesman is selling your car" - I then asked how I put a deposit on it? That's when Shay said that doesn't matter, we'll credit you 500 on another used vehicle. That's when I did get a bit upset and asked - what are you talking about??? Shay then said DCH policy is not to refund the deposit but to put the deposit towards another vehicle and they (DCH) do not have a problem with holding onto your 500 dollars until you find another vehicle... This had me go into irate mode. When I started questioning Shay, he quickly told me to hold on. Next I got Chris Murphey on the phone. I do admit, I did do some shouting, especially considering I took half a day off of work, drove 5 hours & 30 mins, (Shay called me when I was 25 mins from DCH Nissan) paid several tolls through NJ, and I'm being told by Chris this is how business is done, first come first serve. No one cares about your 500 bucks... After a hand full of mins yelling back and forth, Chris also yelling at me that I'm too stupid to understand how sales works - I told Chris that I too, in my younger days was a car salesman for a reputable company who never did a thing like this in the many years I worked there... I do admit, it's been many years (just over a decade) since I sold cars, but I wouldn't have guessed things have changed that much. I explained to him a thing called honesty, and how if you explain to someone that if they put money down, you'll hold a car for 48 hours, then you should stick by what you stated. Chris continued to defend himself saying that's DCH Policy, deposits don't matter. After 20 or so mins on the phone, I believe Chris Murphy finally figured it out and asked me what he can do to make this right - so I stated give me back my 500, cover my half day I took off from work, and gas/tolls. He then threw out 150 plus my 500 back, which is less than the amount to cover my losses from work, but I did accept the offer. Chris then took my address and told me he'd send it out first thing tomorrow, "since it's around 6:30pm and no secretary there to process the check." This was all fine with me. Now my complaints - besides not holding a vehicle for 6 hours after depositing 500 bucks.. Chris has never sent this check out and when I talk to him, he has stated 7 different times - "Oh, you haven't gotten it yet? I'll get you a new check sent out tomorrow... Let me call you tomorrow when I figure out what happened." He has now done this 7 times over the last 6 weeks... Moreover, I guy named, Eric, Mike, and a couple of other managers (who names slip my mind at the moment) all said they'll get right on it, talk to chris and figure this out. So tonight, just to see what's going on, I talked to Eric who, as soon as I told him who I was put me on hold for 10 minutes, then, another manager (never was given his name) told me he doesn't believe me, no one at DCH sells cars if there's a deposit on it, and if you didn't buy a car from them (DCH) then I'm not a customer and they don't care if I'm unhappy. Needless to say, if you're even thinking about using the company DCH Freehold Nissan - Buyer Beware. I'm out several hundreds of dollars, and DCH refuses to make this right. Tomorrow, I will be calling the AG's Office of NJ, as well as BBB and other avenues offered to me to resolve this matter. I don't believe a company can force you to buy another car from them in order for them to fulfill their promise of giving back your money. This is absolutely immoral and un-ethical, and it may be illegal, which I should find out soon enough. Again, stay away from this company - this will be nothing but headaches for you, especially if any slight problems come up. More
My daughter recently purchased a RAV4 from DCH Toyota and 2 weeks later we decided to buy a Nissan Altima. The experience with DCH Toyota prompted us to try DCH Freehold Nissan and we weren't sorry. My experience with this dealership was excellent because I had a very good salesman. He was responsive, polite, knowledgeable and very patient. I'm sure I can speak for many customers who don't look forwar I had a very good salesman. He was responsive, polite, knowledgeable and very patient. I'm sure I can speak for many customers who don't look forward to walking into a dealership in fear of the "BS" pushy salesman! Dave was very personable and focused on what I wanted. I would go as far as saying that he should teach a class on 'style'. I would definitely return to this dealership because of my salesman, Dave. I'm not one to write reviews, good or bad, but I was so impressed with the service that he provided, I wanted and felt that I owed him one! Thank you Dave, Joanne More
On 9th July I had appointment with Freehold kia for 2006 Honda Civic LX and I was very excited after seeing the photos and information about the car online and I made up my mind to buy the car. But when I s Honda Civic LX and I was very excited after seeing the photos and information about the car online and I made up my mind to buy the car. But when I saw the car it was damaged as it hit the curb and also the check engine light was on. None of this info was provided to me when I booked the appointment. After this completely frustrating experience, I decided to stop by at Freehold Nissan which is right opposite to Freehold Kia. Immediately one employee approached us and introduced him as John Cordano and I told him about my experience with Freehold Kia and told him about my budget. Within minutes he started cheking out his Inventory and showed us two three cars. My friend test drove Nissan Maxima SE for me but I wasn't happy with that car(Nothing wrong with the car but just too long for me and I am still not comfortable with parallel parking). So we were still looking around and GM talked about the 2008 Honda Civic LX. John was cool and never pushed me, he came up with two other cars within my budget. And finally I decided to test drive 2008 Honda Civic and me and my friends immediately fell in love with the car. After the test drive the real scene began, there was another couple ready to buy the same car at the same time. This was critical time and John handled it very well and finally I had the keys in my hand. This is my first car and I am really happy that I got it through such a nice dealership. I would buy a car with them in future without any hesitation and would recommend to my friends as well. Anyone who is planning to visit this dealer for new or old car purchase, I would recommend you take appointment with John. And I would like to thank GM as well for giving me the best deal in the market. More
John our salesman noticed that I was limping as I came into the car dealership. With that he inquired if I needed assistance getting around. After talking, he learned that I had been injured in an auto into the car dealership. With that he inquired if I needed assistance getting around. After talking, he learned that I had been injured in an auto accident and needed a new car. So he asked me about what I was looking for and what I might be comfortable in. He then began to show me some cars in the showroom. We then went to his desk and he went on the computer to show me different options, colors, interiors and prices. Once I selected what I was looking for, he drove it to the door for me to look at and test drive instead of me limping around the car lot. After narrowing it downfrom four cars, I decided on the car I was looking to buy. He never pushed me, he just listened to me and showed me what he had to offer or what he could help me with. It was not my intention to actually buy a car that day but I got everything I was looking for including a sales rep that didn't try to just sell me a car...he made me feel good. This was the first time I ever bought a car so quickly, with such ease and feeling as though I got the BEST deal in the market...AND I still feel this way!!! Everyone from the GM to the guys who prepped my car were great. I would buy a car again from them without hesitation!! More
The top on my convertible was rotting after only five years and was garage kept. Nissan was no help at all but the people at DCH Freehold Nissan were so understanding and comforting to me. I am so happ years and was garage kept. Nissan was no help at all but the people at DCH Freehold Nissan were so understanding and comforting to me. I am so happy because I know I am right and the top never should have been in that condition after such a short period of time. Mr. Leone was wonderful and took the time to go over the entire situation with me and then Mr. Cottrell called and I was relieved that they understood and agreed with me. They replaced my top within a few weeks and it looks fabulous. Thank you to the wonderful people at this dealership for their find character. madalyn1@optonline.net More
