I came in to buy a new 2013 Nissan Altima, but they wouldn't even consider negotiating the price by $1000 so I could use my preapproval from Capital One Auto Finance. They proceeded to run my credit again, telling me they could get a better interest rate and ultimately a higher purchase price. I begrudgingly agreed, but then they said that my approval was for an even lower purchase price and higher interest rate... They then proceeded to try to sell me a used 2009 Maxima with 30k miles... Remember, I came in for a NEW car... So, I ended up just taking the Maxima because I needed a needed a new car.... Well, 2 weeks later they call me and say the loan won't fund? They ask me for my bank statements, which I begrudgingly provide, and they call me back later to say my income isn't sufficient (meanwhile I make $3,000 per month as a w2 employee, plus another $1000 or so on 1099).... So, humiliated I give the car back. I then got a phone call from another dealer that I had been looking on their website prior to dealing with Freehold Nissan. I contacted my credit union and found out why my interest rate went up.... They ran my credit with 20 different lenders!!!!!!!!! I had an approval from Capital One! Now, I have a loan from my credit union with a competitive interest rate and a great "new to me" car More

This is the second time I've leased with Freehold Nissan and both times I've felt I received a fair deal with a payment I can live with and a car that I love. The only thing I was disappointed in was they did not have a dedicated person when I picked up the car (like the first time) to explain and go over all the systems in the car. The salesman was helpful but he had another customer and didn't have a lot of time. More
