Quantrell is known as a high-end dealership. Because of this I put a little too much trust in them when I purchased my car from them last year. I found out after the purchase that the car needed $3000 in repairs. And regrettably, I decided to get these repairs at Quantrell. I was promised my car would be ready in one week. When that week was up with no call from them I called the service department and was told that the mechanic working on my car had been pulled off that onto another project. Basically, I felt like they were saying I wasn't a priority to them. The next day when the car wasn't ready, I was given some story about the mechanic having personal problems. All they did was take the engine out of my car, leaving me stuck with them until they decided to repair it. After two weeks when it was repaired, I had a little difficulty being waited on when I arrived to pick my car up. I had to stand there and wait while employees looked at me but didn't offer help. Bottom line: Do not trust this dealership under any circumstance. More

My husband and I bought a 2011 Saab 9-4X from Quantrell on the Dec. 17th, two days before Saab declared bankruptcy. We knew that Saab was going to be sold on that Saturday and Bob and Kevin assured us tha on the Dec. 17th, two days before Saab declared bankruptcy. We knew that Saab was going to be sold on that Saturday and Bob and Kevin assured us that GM had put money in escrow to cover the warranties on all Saabs. So, we felt comfortable buying the car. But, on Tuesday, it was announced that GM was only covering 2009 and previous models and a limited number of 2010 models. All the news was that 2011 Saab owners were out of luck on warranties. We immediately called Kevin to discuss what, if anything, Quantrell was willing to do since they had assured us GM was going to cover our warranty. Quantrell is a dealership that stands on their word. Kevin told us to come in and we would work out something to make sure we were happy, whether it be they take back the Saab and we choose a Volvo or Cadillac, or whatever. We went back on 12/22, and sure enough, they were ready to make it right. We looked at the Cadillac SRX and Volvos, but my heart was set on the Saab. So, I suggested that if the dealership would cover our maintenance (first 3 years like the original agreement) and find a way to get us a warranty near to the original 4 yr/50K mile from the manufacturer, that I really would rather keep the Saab. That got Bob to thinking about how they might be able to get GM to give us an extended warranty on the car. When I say "give," I mean that Quantrell paid for the warranty for us. I'm not sure how much that cost them, but Bob referenced it might have been about $1000. We ended up with a BETTER warranty at no cost to us. The extended warranty they purchased thru GM on our behalf is for 4 yrs/60K miles, no deductible, and has roadside assistance. We got 10K more miles and the same coverage as the original warranty had!! Plus, the dealership agreed to do the 3yr maintenance, all costs on them, free to us. We also got an amazing deal on that Saturday, because the dealers thought they had cash coming back to them on whatever sold, only to find out they weren't going to get any of the dealer incentives on the next Monday. These guys are EXCELLENT people to do business with, in our opinion. They could have just told us, "Sorry, you are out of luck on everything," and left us to deal with class action lawsuits against Saab or GM or both and all out of pocket expenses on the vehicle. But, instead, they made a customer for life out of me!! I could not be more pleased with how they helped us out of what could have been a really bad situation for us. I would recommend this dealership to anyone, any day, and actually look forward to my next vehicle purchase with them!!! More

I've always been pleased with the service at Quantrell Volvo but my visit this week was exceptional. I took in my S60 for service as the check engine light was on; I learned the catalytic converter need Volvo but my visit this week was exceptional. I took in my S60 for service as the check engine light was on; I learned the catalytic converter needed to be replaced. The estimate I received was around $1800 and I made a plan to bring back the car when the part arrived. I dropped off the car and received a loaner (which I'd never done before and very much appreciated) and then around an hour later received a "good news/bad news" call. That never sounds good but it turned out to be "good news/good news" for me. The "bad news" was that because after getting under the hood, they saw that it wasn't the entire catalytic converter that needed to be replaced, they didn't actually have the part and they'd have to keep the car overnight. The good news was that it would cost $1000 LESS. In my opinion, not many (maybe not ANY) dealerships would be honest about such a thing and might just "fix" it anyway. I kept the loaner an extra day and picked up my car with an extra $1000 in my checking account. I very much appreciate honesty and I feel that I can trust the service department to advise me as to what the car really needs. Thank you Quantrell Volvo. Sincerely, Ashley Kirkwooe More
