Both times, I left my truck overnight so the technicians could experience the issue firsthand. On the second visit, I even met with the service manager and demonstrated the noise in person, as well as showed video recordings I’ve taken of it. Despite all of this, I left with the issue still unresolved. The explanation I received was that since everything “checks out fine” and nothing has officially “broken” yet, they can’t perform any repairs — essentially saying that unless a part fails completely, there’s nothing they can do, even though the noise was acknowledged and heard by the technician. I was told this limitation was due to how insurance or warranty work is approved, which I find extremely frustrating and difficult to accept. As a loyal GMC customer for nearly 11 years, having purchased three vehicles during that time, I’m very disappointed — especially since I’ve had issues with the last two vehicles.
