I would definately reccomend Putnam Chrysler Dodge Jeep to all my friends and family. The atmosphere was very friendly. I felt like I knew Mike Harney for years and had only just met him. I was really happy with the Putman Dodge and Jimmy. I had a great experience in the test drive of a brand new 2011 Charger R/T. Jason was very helpful before, during and after the sale. He came in on his day off in order for me to pick up the vehicle. I was determined to find a good used car to replace a rental car that I’d had since the accident 10 weeks earlier. I saw an add for a car that was in the price range at this dealership and drove an hour rental car that I’d had since the accident 10 weeks earlier. I saw an add for a car that was in the price range at this dealership and drove an hour north to investigate. The car was not quite what I expected but Mark Pillsbury felt if I took the auto home and showed the children, it may fill my need. He worked out a deal for me to “check-out” the car overnight and I left with the car. The next day I returned the car and explained it seemed to have some underlying issues that led me to believe it was not the optimal car fro the family. There were not many used cars remaining on the lot and after reviewing these, I decided to leave and investigate further leads at other dealers. Mark Pillsbury at this point made a few comments on good cars coming in all the time and stated he would call me when one arrived. I was grateful, not too impressed at this point because of the lost time but that was no fault of the Dealership nor Mark. I figured I would not be back as I needed a car soon. Two days later I had placed a sizable deposit on what seemed a good buy on a Mercury Sable at a dealership in another town. I received a call from Mark Pillsbury from Putnam Kia and he stated a very nice Santa Fe was going to be available. It was a cordial call and I felt he had done more at this point to try and help me than any other dealership I had visited which included dealerships in New Hampshire, Mass, and Conn. Mark stated the car he wanted to show me was well worth the time. I told him I was going to be busy with my daughter and he made an offer that really impressed me…. He told me he would drive down to our home (an hour South of the dealership) and show the Santa Fe off to the family. I was apprehensive since I already had a pending deal on another car but Mark assured me this was a great deal. Ion Saturday morning Mark called to let me know he was leaving the dealership and coming to our home with the auto. Later we met at my daughter’s stables to discuss and evaluate the Santa Fe. At first look it did seem to be one of the nicest used cars I had seen. Mark was never pushy nor in a hurry and waited on my daughter to finish her horse training to join us for a test drive. We performed the test drive and I was hooked. We discussed the deal and it was so good I decided to eat the deposit for the other car and followed Mark back to the dealership to begin the paper work. Just to clarify this information, I am not a friend of Mark Pillsbury and never knew him before this car deal. I have never been to the Putnam Kia Dealership before this visit. I had no prior knowledge of any of the personnel at this dealership so there were no referrals. My business was concluded with the purchase of one of the nicest automobiles I have ever owned and I have bought new the last 15 years. The effort Mark put into satisfying my family needs was humbling and was the reason I bought this car. His trip to my home was unexpected and truly impressive, so much so I lost my deposit on my previous deal. Without his effort I was content to spend money on another deal. The automobile is awesome and unbelievably clean and reliable. It was everything I had expected in all the other dealerships I visited. After 40 car reviews, test drives, and trips to 3 different states to find our car, we were blown away with the final Outcome at Putnam Kia. Many Thanks Mark, Dan, and Mark for the great efforts, great deal and wonderful family car to cherish until my insurance claim is paid out. You’ve earned my business and I’ll definitely be back to buy the next new car in the near future. It was a very pleasant experience working with Dave along with the rest of the Sales staff during my purchase of the 2010 Journey. My first dealing with Putnam Chrysler started about 2001 when I brought with the rest of the Sales staff during my purchase of the 2010 Journey. My first dealing with Putnam Chrysler started about 2001 when I brought my 1996 Dakota in for service and have been a customer of Putnam Chrysler since. Everyone from Sales to Service has the "can-do, customer satisfaction spirit." I would wish that Service would be open for 4 or 5 hours on Saturdays for lubricant changes, tire service, and other light repairs. With my working distance and schedule, Tuesdays are hard days to schedule such thing except to pick up the serviced vehicle. For major repairs, I leave my vehicle there on Monday night and then rent another vehicle. Keep up the great work. Bernie Nanni More
