The online description misrepresented the trim level at #4. When we pointed out the lack of the advertised amenities, they claimed it was the VIN subscription service that made the error. They still held #4. When we pointed out the lack of the advertised amenities, they claimed it was the VIN subscription service that made the error. They still held to this when we pointed that the correct trim level #2 was hand printed on the FOB key tag (so someone on staff knew the correct trim). I rated this as a 3 because the price was still attractive, and we did purchase the car, but unfortunately it is what we have come to expect from car dealerships. More

A sales agent from Pure Honda Ferndale responded to my Craigslist posting for 2020 Hyundaii SantaFe and offered to give 32.5K. Based on the google reviews I trusted them and visited the dealer. I even can Craigslist posting for 2020 Hyundaii SantaFe and offered to give 32.5K. Based on the google reviews I trusted them and visited the dealer. I even canceled my appointment that I had setup with Cargurus. Only after visiting in person and talking to the agents and the owner, I realized they are doing shady business of falsefully promising to pay an amount, but then try to buy for less. In my case, the promised amount was 32.5K, but they changed it to $29K when I visited personally. They test drove my vehicle and found everything as I had described, and only could come up with an excuse that prices change every day and they couldn’t honor our initial agreement. Surprisingly the price they quoted was just one day before I visited them (how can car value go down in one day?). I had a long argument with Nate Taylor (General Sales Manager) and Sheldon Taylor (General Manager) explaining how unethical and unprofessional they were. Surprisingly the General Manager had argued that my time was not a waste saying that it is similar to visiting a dealer to purchase a car and ending up not buying one (LOL). He offered to pay 16cents/mile to compensate for my inconvenience (LOL). This is clearly an incident of shady business from the dealer, by trying to lure people to visit them and attempt to buy it very low. More
