Went in to purchase a new 2011 Toyota Avalon. I was greeted by Mr. Kern in sales dept, he was very friendly, not pushy, he answered all my questions knowledgeable or went to someone who did know the an greeted by Mr. Kern in sales dept, he was very friendly, not pushy, he answered all my questions knowledgeable or went to someone who did know the answer. He worked with me on the trade in price of my old car and the price of the new car. I was very happy with the process. I wanted to upgrade the wheels, which is were I met Mr. Anderson in service, he, like Mr. Kern was very informative about the vehicle I purchased and the time involved in making the changes I wanted made on my new car. While I was waiting for the service dept to finish the changes I had requested, Mr Kern introduced me to Miss Rhoden the Quality Assurance Manager, she made sure that I was happy with my purchase, my service and made sure that if I had any problems with my experience today or any problems in the future that I could call her personally and she would make sure things were made wright. I will use this dealership for my service needs and will use them when I am ready to purchase a new vehicle. I will recommend this dealership to my friends. I also would like commend this dealership for how clean and friendly I found its new car lobby and service waiting area.(the Subway sandwich shop inside the service waiting area is a great idea) More
Its not just women that they try to take advantage of here. This place is run by grifters. Do not go here. I bought a scion xb from this dealership. I knew the scion prices were set so I thought I was ok. The manager sized me up and, I guess based on what I look like, he figured he could get away with really bad math tricks when he was trying to explain my payments. He drew this chart out and I just let him talk. When he started blatantly lying I called him on it and he took his hand drawn charts away. He got really rude after that. I told them I only wanted the stock car and after trying to sell me hub caps and a new sound system and a crappy alarm they stopped. My mistake was my trade in. They couldn't get me on the sale so when they took my trade in they did not transfer ownership for six months despite the fact that the paperwork was signed. The registration expired and a YEAR later the new owner referred that bill back to the reseller who refferred it to the dealership who referred it to me. When I got the dmv notice I took it to the dealership and they said they would take care of it. Another year later the state franchise tax board threatened to garnish my wages. When I went back to them they washed their hands of it. They said they sold the car before the registration expired and it wasn't their problem. They had already sold me the car and they needed nothing else from me. The state took money out of my paycheck, withlate fees, 800 dollars. I brought in paperwork and the dealership would not even offer service credit. As far as service goes they are worse than the typical ripoff. Almost everytime I went in something random would go wrong. Powerlocks, bumper, noises in the engine. Since I stopped taking it to them those thinga stopped as well. They are poised to take advantage of anyone they can. DO NOT GO HERE. More
Ray promised that he would beat any price. Even after I sent him a copy of my dealer invoice from another dealer, he backed out on his promise. They had a car in stock that matched what I wanted but they sent him a copy of my dealer invoice from another dealer, he backed out on his promise. They had a car in stock that matched what I wanted but they said that it was being used by the general manager as a "demo" model, which I do not believe. Nonetheless, they did not even try to work with me even after their promise. Not a very good dealership to work with. More
I made an appointment during a time where there weren't many people. it took them 3 hours to do an oil change and tire rotation. It was my first time there and the mechanic was also very rude to me.He roll many people. it took them 3 hours to do an oil change and tire rotation. Same comments with the other reviewer. Prey on everyone. Worst dealer that I have ever been. Bought a brand new camry there and took it back for oil change. Changed my brake and rotor without my consent, Worst dealer that I have ever been. Bought a brand new camry there and took it back for oil change. Changed my brake and rotor without my consent, claiming that there was so problems and charged the warranty. Also bought parts from there and tried to return. Refused to accept the return for no reason. Reported to Toyota Motor. Also, when I bought my car there, they let me wait for over one hour after agreeing on the price because I tried to pay in cash. Amazing sales tactics! Forced to go there for service because it is the nearest one around my home. More
Rip-off dealership: strong arm service tactics prey on unwitting women. I am normally a Longo Toyota customer, but I bought my last one at Puenta Hills because it was closer to home & they matched Longo’ unwitting women. I am normally a Longo Toyota customer, but I bought my last one at Puenta Hills because it was closer to home & they matched Longo’s price. The sale wasn’t too bad except for the high pressure to purchase an additional warranty and other unnecessary stuff. So my mechanically naïve wife started bringing her Toyota in for the recommended Toyota service. At 15K miles, she was gouged for a wheel alignment and tire balance-not cheap. I never needed that so soon on any other vehicle. I should have taken the hint, but.. At 20K she brought it in for lube & tire rotation as recommended by Toyota, but was strong-armed into a $300 fuel system and power steering treatment that I have since found out is not at all recommended by Toyota. So much for thinking I was getting Toyota service at a Toyota dealer! When I challenged this, the service manager agreed to refund the $300 charges for the unnecessary work, but he later claimed that he did not remember that and besides my wife authorized the work. How did the service writer determine she needed the work when she initially only authorized the $69 oil lube & tire rotation? At only 20K miles why would anyone think to access the throttle body or power steering system? The only work under the hood was to add oil – seems pretty fishy. The only thing under the hood that needed touching was the oil fill cap. I now feel that two of the vehicle’s systems have been tampered with-if indeed the work was accomplished- and I am concerned of future negative consequences as a result of the unauthorized service that is not even discussed in the Toyota maintenance manual. Verified a car at a specific price in an email to me on 1/10, told me in an email on 1/13 that the car was there, and after driving 100 miles through LA traffic on a Friday afternoon, I found out the car h 1/10, told me in an email on 1/13 that the car was there, and after driving 100 miles through LA traffic on a Friday afternoon, I found out the car had dealer-added leather seats and chrome wheels, for $4,000 over the price quoted on the email three days before. It was obvious they felt that after spending three hours in traffic, I wouldn't "pass up the chance" to get the car as they put it, and could "negotiate" for a reduction in price on the add-ons. Beware their Internet Sales department ... they employed the same sales tricks that car salesmen have employed for ages, including "standing room only" closes and bait and switch tactics. More
I went there looking for one specific Scion, a Limited Edition Xb. When I found out that it was beyend my reach with my trade in, we looked at an Xa. They bent over backwards to get it for me at the month Edition Xb. When I found out that it was beyend my reach with my trade in, we looked at an Xa. They bent over backwards to get it for me at the monthly payment that I wanted. Diane was very friendly as was all the staff, except the guy in the finance department. When I told him that I wasn't interested in an extended service contract, he got all cranky and mad. More
