I was not even thinking of getting an Elantra because I already had a choice of another brand. Before I went to Hyundai PH, I went first to that dealership of my choice brand. Because I was not well entertained by the their salesman, I decided to try Hyundai PH because my other vehicle is a Tucson although I bought it from another dealership. The sales staff were friendly, courteous and professionally answered our queries. We wanted to test drive Santa Fe GLS Premium. We were greeted by Manny or Ronnie. I couldn't make his name clearly. He showed us Santa Fe we wanted. We asked if we can test drive. He asked "are you buying today?" We said in couple of months. He answer "I am waiting for a customer" I asked can someone else help with test drive?" Manny says "I will get someone else" and walks away. No one shows for next 20 minutes. We are pissed and started to walk toward our car to drive away. Our car was parked in front of the dealer. We see several sales man just laughing but did not care about us leaving. We didn't even get a look from them. Obviously, they were told by Manny to not waste a breath since we are not buying today. DO NOT TELL THEM YOU ARE NOT BUYING!!!!. They will treat you like a..ummm... "NOTHING" I won't be getting a car from MANNY or any other PH Hyudai sales person. More
tried for 4 days to get info on a car I live out of state and sent an inquiry via email, i was sent an email that was common to everyone. After explaining that I have purchased several cars online in the last couple of years, including 3 in S, CA, and if we agreed on numbers I would be out for delivery in 2 days. I received multiple emails about everything thing except the answers to my questions, I don"t believe that I have ever encountered such a nonresponsive dealership. If I were the dealer I would be embarrassed by these employees. I am glad that i stopped the brain damage before i bought. Save yourself the damage and go somewhere else. More
I came into the Puente Hills Hyundai feeling really down. I was greeted by a really up beat, very friendly young man by the name he said was Jr. I really didn't think my chances were that great to actually I was greeted by a really up beat, very friendly young man by the name he said was Jr. I really didn't think my chances were that great to actually drive away with a very good used 2011 Chevrolet, but this guy showed me love, respect and a real concern for my immediate need for transportation. He pulled his sale team together to work with and me and made it happen. I was really impressed with Lonnie Jr I got what I wanted because of his hard work and positive personality. I was so happy with him and his sales team that I will definately buy there again and recommend him to all of my friends and family. They are really a family down there and I plan to have a long lasting relationship with them here on out. He was just so polite and optimistic. Thank you Lonnie jr for making my day! Unfortunately, I have to pick at least one star otherwise I would have gave them zero! Horrible, Horrible, and just Horrible customer sales experience ever! This dealer is only 3 miles away from my hou I would have gave them zero! Horrible, Horrible, and just Horrible customer sales experience ever! This dealer is only 3 miles away from my house but after today's experience I will drive 50 miles away and will pay even more to others but will not be coming or calling or recommending this dealer to anyone including my enemies! Please note that my experience is based upon one SALES individual name JUSTIN on the phone. Please also note that this was my first time ever to call this dealer. Ok, so I called this dealer today because I am shopping for a car and need to buy it either this weekend or the next one. I had the quote from the other dealer and wanted to shop around to see if someone else might even have a better deal for me. So after giving all the necessary information to this guy, I right away noticed a big attitude and rudeness problem. I was so right about this because this guy turned out to be a real jerk! He asked me if I already have a quote and I said yes. He then told me that what ever lowest price I have from others, he can either match or beat that price as long as its documented and I can show it to him. At that point, I told him that I do not need to produce any document because the lowest price is already listed on one of the dealer website. He then said that there will not be a problem for him to match or beat that as long as he can verify that online. This is where the real problem started. Please also note that from this point, this idiot started yelling and shouting at me and proved that he is very unfriendly. At this moment, I didn't feel comfortable with his "too good to be true" answer in terms of price matching answers and told him if he can go online and verify this low price that I am talking about. Keep in mind that until this moment he has never bothered to ask me about the low price that I already have. OMG he started to argue with me that he can trust me and will match the price or beat it and no need for him to look at online! I then told him again to not trust or believe me and instead just go online and verify this low price while I hold on the phone. Simple thing that I ask him to do that doesn't even take more than 2 minutes and yet he was arguing and shouting at me who was a brand new serious customer that needs a car right away! I also told him that the reason I want him to do that is because this is what the dealers say on the phone just to get the customer come in to the dealer and then started to make excuses on how they cannot match the price because of some fine prints or other crappy reasons etc. He continued with his loudness and kept going as far as telling me "What did I tell you earlier..." "Didn't I tell you more than 3 times already......" At one point he then lied to me that he is already looking at the price online to which I told him that I didn't even give him the dealer name so where online is he looking at? Since he was busted at the spot with his lies, right away he became much more aggressive and instead told me that I am lying to him :) Trust me guys and gals, I am telling you exactly what happened as it is still fresh in my mind. Some of you might not believe but what ever I have said so far is all true and honest comments. BTW, did I already mention that pretty much the whole time this guy was keep interrupting and would not let me finish? Things just didn't end here. At this moment I had enough of this ridiculous guy and told him that I want to speak with someone else. You would not believe what he said to me. Here is his exact words; "Absolutely not! I am the manager here!" WOW! Just WoW! I did not believe my ears when I heard that. I hung up right away after his answer! This guy definitely needs to be demoted if not fired. Also, a full basic customer service course is what he needed as well! Just amazing to see on what kind of staff, who claim to be a manager, this dealer has who has no respect, courtesy, or friendliness to a brand new first time customer like me! How can I think about this dealer for any future purchase or for recommending it to others? Looks like I am not alone in terms of their horrible customer service after reading reviews from other Yelpers. Like I said, my experience was based on a guy name JUSTIN at SALES department who claim to be a manager. This dealer may have other good people working in there but needless to say that this dealer will not get any of my business for sure regardless! One thing for sure I want to say is that if you get this guy on the phone or at the location for anything, just run as fast as you can unless you want to ruin your day or want to have problem later!
