It was OK I called Puente Hills ahead of time to confirm that the front license plate had not already been drilled in. I was confirmed that it hadn't. When I drove 35 miles to the dealership from Irvine, I realized that what was told to me was not true and that the license plate had been drilled in. I felt deceived. I could have just bought another 2018 Santa Fe at Tustin Hyundai instead which is 5 minutes away from my home. Also the car needed to go through the car wash twice b/c the car was still messy on the outside and inside when I got it the first time. Not impressed. Further, this caused me to have to wait another 30 minutes. The navigation screen had a scratch on it to begin with which is greatly noticeable even now. I think the dealer should remedy this. When the employees found out that I was using an employee E-coupon, I think their motivation dipped quite a bit. The only highlight was the sales person Paul Kim - he was excellent and shouldn't be blamed for how the car turned out and how others acted prior to him. As a Hyundai employee, just makes me sad that these are the types of people representing my employer and brand. Also makes me hesitant in recommending Hyundai to family and friends. More
