I drove a pretty good ways to get to dealership due to price of vehicle. Purchased vehicle once I got there. When I went to leave there was not a keyless entry that came with the vehicle. Spoke with ma price of vehicle. Purchased vehicle once I got there. When I went to leave there was not a keyless entry that came with the vehicle. Spoke with management and was informed they would check because they did not know if it had keyless entry or not. Fair enough. Once I got home I noticed that everytime I unlocked the truck the security alarm would go off until the key was in the ignition and turned. This problem is due to not being unlocked with the keyless entry. Only fix is having the key fob for the vehicle. Second problem is I noticed the next morning after the purchase that it was idling rough. The rpms would drop down and the vehicle would shutter then the rpms would reboud causing it to rev. The vehicle is under warranty so that will get fixed. The problem I have and the reason I am leaving this review is this. These are both problems the dealership should have known about and certainly should have disclosed to me. They lock cars everynight which means they should be unlocked in the morning, hence, alarm would go off EVERY TIME VEHICLE IS UNLOCKED. I just thought that should have been disclosed since vehicle was unlocked and running both times I drove it from the lot. When I spoke with management they agreed to send key fobs for vehicle and they would do warranty work on vehicle to fix idling problem. Both easy fixes. Nothing like buying a vehicle then having to have work done on it less than 3 days later. However, when I pay a good some of money(CASH)I expect a vehicle that is in good working condition. As the management said "it's not like it's a 77 model that I put woodchips in the tranmition" I guess that was supposed to make me feel better? Also the in the words from a person at this dealership "When we price our vehicle so cheap sometimes there are things that gets passed down to the consumer". This dealership has NO 72 hour return policy, and now I completely understand why. I will never buy another vehicle from the dealership and promised them I would voice my opinion so other's wouldn't make the same mistake which is when I was called a coward for doing so. So since I'm such a coward I will find every review I can find and leave this review so no one makes the same mistake I did. There are tons of dealerships, Please do research on them so you don't make the same mistake I did. More
The first car I purchased from Roberts Auto Center was over 10 years ago, a 1998 Subruban, I won't and haven't gone to another dealership since that time. I live in Tulsa, about 50 miles from Roberts and over 10 years ago, a 1998 Subruban, I won't and haven't gone to another dealership since that time. I live in Tulsa, about 50 miles from Roberts and there are many GM dealerships right here in my back yard but the service, price and selection at Roberts makes the drive to Pryor well worth it. I used to compare prices at different dealerships; however, Roberts was always the best price. Now, I don't waste my time because I know that Roberts will give me the best deal available. Since that first purchase I have bought 6 vehicles from Roberts, both new and used. I have never regretted any of those purchases. I know I am not the biggest or most important customer that Roberts has, but they treat me as though I were. Often Scott Roberts, the owner, will approach me to make sure that I am satisfied with his sales staff and service. Additionally, when service or repairs are needed the service department has always exceeded my expectations. For my money, there is no better dealership. More
My grandparents decided to trade in one pickup and buy another used truck. Within 24 hours of their visit to the dealership, they changed their minds. They told the salesman with whom they originally dea another used truck. Within 24 hours of their visit to the dealership, they changed their minds. They told the salesman with whom they originally dealt (the Frederick listed above) that this purchase was predicated on the sale of another pickup they owned. That sale fell through, prompting their reversal on the decision to buy another. The dealership refused to let them out of the contract, insisting they MUST take delivery on the truck they had chosen. This was an in-stock pickup, sitting on their lot at the time. There was no re-stocking, return issues, nothing! The dealership, in my opinion, decided on a course of being bloody-minded. Subsequently, the dealership actually drove the new truck to Kansas to deliver it to my grandparents. Upon arrival, they actually informed my grandparents that it had gotten terrible gas mileage the entire trip, AND the check engine light was on! They insisted they had already paid for the old pickup, and it was therefore theirs to take. They then took possession of the old truck and drove it back to Pryor. This exchange took place over a week ago. Since that time, the dealership has NOT YET MADE ANY PAYMENT for the old truck towards the purchase price of the new truck. They have the old truck in their possession, have no title, haven't paid a dime, and KNOW that my grandparents don't want the truck they delivered! They are both on fixed incomes and CANNOT afford another truck payment, as the other truck hasn't sold! This is one of the worst examples of elder exploitation I have ever seen on the part of a dealership, and I hope their collective grandparents flog them with walkers at their earliest opportunity. I purchased a 2008 Jeep Compass from the Dodge dealership. At first I had some problems in the completion of the purchase. I kind of felt I was forced into a deal I really didn't want and that see dealership. At first I had some problems in the completion of the purchase. I kind of felt I was forced into a deal I really didn't want and that seemed unfair. My sales man was Kai Hampton. And my finance officer was Anthony. But Scott Roberts, the actual owner of the dealership got involved in the process of my purchase, and resolved all of my concerns in a very timely matter. He was very attentive to the issues that were raised, making sure that I was completely satisfied with my purchase. He gave excellent customer service, calling me back in a timely matter when I tried to reach him. He answered all of my questions, helping me to understand the purchase process. Scott also helped me obtain a good price of $12,975 instead of the $15,170 I would of paid for my vehicle. He treated me like a person, not a pay check. After all was said concerning the purchase I was very please. Thanks Scott Roberts for caring about the customer. That is hard to find at any dealership. :) Shylon B. More
