This dealership is dishonest and they will lie to you. We bought a truck several months ago, and unfortunately it was long enough ago that I don't remember the details of everything they tried to sneak into bought a truck several months ago, and unfortunately it was long enough ago that I don't remember the details of everything they tried to sneak into the contract, so some of this review will sound vague. The person in charge of writing up the sales contract (don't remember his name) kept trying to sneak things into the contract that we didn't want. He was dishonest and literally lied to us. The sales person we dealt with was very friendly, but is no longer there. The problem came when we went into the office to write up the sales contract. He kept trying to sneak things into the contract that we told him we didn't want. We told him we didn't want any extras, just whatever was included in the price that was advertised. He printed off the contract and handed it to us to sign, and the price was way above what was advertised. So we went through it and repeated what we didn't want. So then he tried to tell us that a certain maintenance schedule that required us bringing the truck in several times a year was part of the contract and that it couldn't be removed. We told him we lived 60 miles away and wouldn't be coming back for the maintenance, but he said it couldn't be removed and we would have to pay for it whether we used it or not, so we should try to get in for the maintenance. At that point we didn't realize what a liar he was, so we didn't argue, but told him it would be very difficult for us to come in. Then he tried to sell us something else (I don't remember what) that was a good deal at just $2 a month, so we bought it. He printed up a second contract, and after doing the math in our heads we realized that the $2 a month was actually $20 a month, so we told him we didn't want it, and he tore up that second contract. As he was printing a third contract for us, he asked us a third time if we thought we could get in for that maintenance, we said no, and I guess he started feeling guilty, because he said he would take it off (we didn't bother to ask why he had originally told us it was required and couldn't be removed, because by that time we didn't trust him at all). There were some other things that he tried to put in the contract, and if we hadn't read it carefully we would not have noticed. So he wrote up three contracts that had to be torn up because of the things he tried to sneak in. There is one thing that he did manage to get by us. He said they automatically do the window etching, and it cost $250 more than the advertised price. We said we didn't want it, and he said it was already done so we had to buy it. This was the very first lie he told us, so at that time we still trusted him and didn't realize he was lying. We didn't think to ask about why wasn't it included in the advertised price if it was already done, so we accepted it and went on with the rest of the contract negotiation as described above. By the time we finally got done (45 minutes to an hour later) and realized how dishonest he was, we had forgotten about the etching we paid for. We realized on the way home that we could have refused to pay for it since it wasn't in the advertised price, and when I googled it at home, it said that if etching is included in the contract and you don't want it, all you have to do is scratch it out. I called the customer relations specialist (it was a different person than the one listed now) at the dealership and complained to him, but he wasn't much help. He repeated the lie that we had to pay for the etching because it was already done, even though it wasn't included in the advertised price. This place is dishonest. If you research this dealership online, you will find several reviews saying the same thing. We will never go here again. More
WORST car buying experience EVER! I had been in contact with an internet salesman John "Goat" after I inquired about a Dodge Durango fro sale. I set up a time to drive out to the dealership and test drive. with an internet salesman John "Goat" after I inquired about a Dodge Durango fro sale. I set up a time to drive out to the dealership and test drive. I was even running a little late and emailed to let them know I was going to be late....common courtesy I would think. I live about 45min - 1 Hr away, and not only was I in the market for a new car, so was my husband (a potential 2 car sell). Well, when we arrive they can't seem to find the keys to the Durango I had inquired about. Then, the run about started. 1st story...they lent the Durango to some coach. 2nd story....they lent the car to another customer. BUT, they did just have a trade in from one of their finance managers 2 DAYS AGO! Oh my....I think I was supposed to jump up and down (but, I didn't). This was the WORST bait and SWITCH I have EVER seen. These guys even gave sleazy used car salesman a bad name. Needless to say, I would NOT recommend this dealership to anyone in the new or used car market. I would be embarrassed if this was the customer service of my company. I am completely disgusted. More
I WAS SOLD A LEMON! WAS NEVER DISCLOSED NUMEROUS PROBLEMS UNTIL I SIGNED FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE CAR. I WAS SOLD A USED CAR, AS IS. THE SALESMAN SAID IT WAS IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION, CARFAX WAS NOT AVAILABL UNTIL I SIGNED FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE CAR. I WAS SOLD A USED CAR, AS IS. THE SALESMAN SAID IT WAS IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION, CARFAX WAS NOT AVAILABLE. 2 WEEKS AFTER PURCHASE MY CAR BLEW A SPARK PLUG, A/C STOPPED WORKING. I MADE NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS AND FINALLY THE OWNER AGREED TO FIX MY CAR. AFTER KEEPING MY CAR FOR WEEKS, THE OWNER PRESENTED MY HUSBAND A LIST OF EVERYTHING WRONG WITH THE VEHILCE (WHICH WAS NEVER RELEASED TO US INITALLY AT TIME OF SALE). HE AGREED TO FIX MY A/C, GIVE MY CAR A TUNE UP, FIX MY REAR DOOR. THEY KEPT MY CAR FOR OVER 1 MONTH. WHEN I PICKED IT UP I WAS GIVEN A RECIEPT SHOWING WHAT THEY DID: SPARK PLUGS/TUNE UP, FIXED THE BLENDOR (FOR THE A/C) AND MY REAR DOOR. A FEW WEEKS AFTERWARDS, MY CAR STARTED SPUTERING/STALLING. AFTER EXAMINING MY CAR, THE SPARK PLUGS WERE NEVER CHANGED! NOW MY CAR IS IDLING ROUGH, STALLING AND MAKING LOUD NOISES. I HAVE NOT EVEN HAD THIS CAR FOR 6MTS AND STILL HAVE PROBLEMS! I HAVE ATTEMPTED TO CONTACT THE DEALER, LEFT MANY MESSAGES BUT NO ONE IS CALLING ME BACK. THE LAST TIME I EVER SPOKE WITH SOMEONE IN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT (JOHN) HE TOLD ME THAT I PURCHASED THE CAR AS-IS AND THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO. HOW IS THIS FAIR? I UNDERSTAND CARS HAVE PROBLEMS BUT WHEN I WAS INFORMED OF "ALL" OF THE PROBLEMS AND THEN AM LEFT WITH A PIECE OF JUNK AND STILL HAVE TO MAKE PAYMENTS ON...THIS IS NOT FAIR. I FEEL THEY TOTALLY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF SOMEONE WHO WAS DESPERATE AND WHO DID NOT HAVE ALOT OF MONEY...AND TOOK ME THROUGH THE RINGER! More

Completely dissatisfied. We originally bought a car from this place, thinking that they've done their inspections and we wouldn't have a problem with the car, but after we bought it, it was in their shop fo this place, thinking that they've done their inspections and we wouldn't have a problem with the car, but after we bought it, it was in their shop for over a week. I guess they found something else wrong with the car that they needed to fix. In the beginning, I was thinking that's good cause then it won't cause us problems later. Boy was I wrong!!! It seems like to me they didn't know how to fix the car so they said that they did what they can do and just messed it up more! Well, exactly two months to the day after we bought it, the car wouldn't start. It had to be towed to Roberts, and then they said they'll only cover $100 of the tow and that we had to pay the other $50!! Are you serious?!?! So we said we don't want the car anymore....they need to buy it back...instead they offered to let us trade the car back for another one on their lot. But they said that we had to buy a MORE expensive car because of the negative equity. In the end, we went from a lower car payment of $280 to a car payment now of $425. And on top of that, we lost out on $500 for doing the tags and title for the first car we got. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN!!! THEY WILL CHEAT YOU!!! But I will have to say that at least the sales people were pleasant. They did try to be as helpful as they could. And I don't blame this overall problem we had on the sales people at all. It's just Roberts trying to get the most that they can get by cheating you. More
Went to Roberts Auto Center with a specific car in mind, Kristi helped me find exactly what I wanted and she stayed late to finalize all the paperwork and work with me on a price. It was the most convenient Kristi helped me find exactly what I wanted and she stayed late to finalize all the paperwork and work with me on a price.
