dealership failed to keep their word My wife & I drove a very long distance from out of state to purchase a vehicle from Roberts. The sales person was nice but not very knowledgeable abo My wife & I drove a very long distance from out of state to purchase a vehicle from Roberts. The sales person was nice but not very knowledgeable about the vehicle or the transaction details & even made promises over the phone that he couldn't keep once we were there to complete the deal. The finance manager was nice & very well versed especially when he attempted to add fees, warranty, gap & other add-ons we had no intention of buying. Since we were out of state buyers we had to pay our own sales tax title & licensing fees to register our vehicle in our home state. Those fees were not collected by dealership but were figured into our loan in order to cover the cost when we registered it later. Well it's been six weeks & we still haven't received the title to the vehicle nor the money to pay the fees in order to register the vehicle in our name. After calling the bank who did the financing we found out the dealership had been paid in full weeks ago including the extra $4000 added to the loan in order to pay title fees. We have called Roberts multiple times & left messages yet we never got a return call from the sales or finance dept. to follow-up on the deal. They received their money from the bank which apparently is all they were concerned about. Very shady business practices by Roberts with lack of follow through on customer service or keeping their customers informed. Would not recommend doing business with any of the Roberts group. More
I WILL NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE AGAIN!!! They are dishonest liars! We were in need of a car due to our previous car being wrecked. I searched for several days for vehicles both on line and visiting dishonest liars! We were in need of a car due to our previous car being wrecked. I searched for several days for vehicles both on line and visiting car dealers. I saw the car that I thought was a good price. I called and talked to Brian and he assured me that we would get a great deal and also that the car in question was a Ford certified vehicle. My wife and I and our 2 children drove 1 1/2 hours to visit Roberts and see if we liked the car. We drove it and liked it. The salesman, Brian was very nice. Bucky was great and even offered to pay for our lunch, which he did. We made a deal to purchase the car. He even offered a check for $100 towards the purchase of tires in the future. We have as of yet not received $1 of that promise. That's when the real trouble began. We were not offered any options as to the length of the loan. They just put us down for 78 months. We did not have an option of interest rates. They just slapped it on the paper. Upon being presented the paperwork, I noticed that our $20000 car just turned out to be $30000 due to the interest rate, the length of the loan, and the extra add ons, to a total of $5000+! Shocked! How could someone be so dishonest and try to deceive? I questioned the paperwork and said that I would not sign it. It was a deal breaker. I was ready to walk out the door! After much talking, the paperwork was reproduced with the right figures on it. We bought the car....and we also found out that, shock of all shocks! its not certified! I'm still waiting for my $100....which I'm sure was a lie also. Please do your home work! Don't be quick to choose a car at Roberts. There are certainly better places around to purchase a vehicle! These people have no credibility and certainly are a bunch of deceitful people. In 35 years of purchasing cars, this is the worst experience that I have ever had! I'm sorry that I have to post this online, but I do hope that others will take heed of my experience. More

Worst car buying experience I've ever dreamed of having.This group of people are very dishonest and will hide information from you to get you to unwittingly commit to not just a bad but probably th having.This group of people are very dishonest and will hide information from you to get you to unwittingly commit to not just a bad but probably the worst deal on a car you can get. Looked online made a list conveniently the cars I wanted were sold. One was listed as a 2010 actually a 2006. I agreed to look purchase another car for 12,000. I didn't like what they offered 550 a month for 36 months. So the dealer went back to try and make some kind of offer I guess. Came back with a 440 a month 3k down. Did not mention loan length turns out it was 72 months!! Highest interest 21%. Let's see 12000 car 3000 down would bring it to 9000. 450 for 72 months. 30 grand I was going to end up paying for a used car with 70k miles ridiculous right. I said no way! So anyway some chump comes back to talk I said I can get something at buy here pay here 15% 48 months less than 400 a month. He got an attitude and said where if you don't buy this car you will never get one. Guess this guy thinks hes better then me. Gimme a break dude Im an army girl with a line unit I seen some you know what. What have you done car salemen sat on your you know what and gibber gabbered a bunch of bull. Than he suggested I go upside down on my loan and trade it in in a couple yrs xxx?? But even at 21% 3k down on a 9000 loan comes no where near 30k that over double god knows what they added to the contract. I'm a 32 yr old combat veteran I do not have time for some low life car salesmen those guys should be handed a riffle and stuck out in Afghanistan. Hey guy I called my bank got a loan with 8% interest I pay 250 a month for 48 months And a 4yr power train extended warranty. I got kids to take care of. You people really shouldn't write your own reviews. Run for the hills these guys got no integrity not even for a dealership. And grossly proud of there low standard's and screwing families out of there hard earned money. For an easy buck. Some people will do anything that doesn't affect themselves for a dollar rather then actually work for it. Congratulations you sold your soul to the dollar. More
