FEMALE BUYERS BEWARE!!!!! THEY WILL TELL YOU ANYTHING!!! A year ago I was looking online for a car that cost less than the car I was currently driving. I was wanting to trade for something that was cheaper to get out of being upside down on a car I had bought following a divorce. I somehow was connected with Jimmy Vogt as a salesperson. Initially he acted like he had my best interest in mind...(first mistake) after talking to him and looking at a few cars I decided it wasn't in my best interest and I needed to just hold onto the car I was currently driving. Cory Hodges and Jimmy Vogt were very determined to get me to buy a car. Cory Hodges asked to me come and speak to him in the office. (second mistake) He said "I am trying to figure out away we can help you get out from upside down on your car". He said "buy this 2013 GMC Terrain with $3,000 rebate for $484 per month ($150 more than I was already paying per month) and come back in a year and trade it in and you won't be upside anymore and you can trade it for something that cost less and your payments will be less. Well, I fell for it (third mistake). Cory Hodges assured me that he would be there, that he had recently been transferred to the store and bought a house and he would be there. I didn't get that agreement in writing (forth mistake). One year later I walk into the dealership, Jimmy Vogt standing right there on the sales floor and Cory Hodges sitting cozy in his office just as I had left them a year before. I walked in and said "Ok, I'm ready to trade my car like you said." I'm sure they were shocked to have someone come in the door seeking to collect on a deal that had been made a year ago. They weren't completely aware of the deal, but you could tell they were nervous about what they had said that I was holding them to. My dad came with me this time to help me finance the car because now my credit was completely destroyed do to the increase in my car payment that I had had for the year so he was going to help me with the credit portion. As conversation progressed, Dusty Brown was sent in, I'm assuming the "big guns" and began arguing with my dad that they could not hold up their end of the deal and that they could not buy back my car. Following that Jimmy Vogt comes back in and he is a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PERSON than the carsalesman he was a year ago so eager to have my best interest in mind. He began arguing and telling me and my dad that all the things I was saying was a lie, that none of what I said they said was true and I was lying. I immediately saw what we were dealing with and instead having my dad continue to argue with these men, considering it was my fault to begin with, I told Jimmy that maybe I misunderstood what the agreement was. We left then and as I was leaving I watched through the windows to see the reactions of the salespeople. Jimmy went around telling all of his peers how he had taken care of it, you could tell by his body language that he was bragging how he took care of it. I will admit I was a fool, first off, a woman should never walk into a dealership alone, they automatically become prey. I just think it is important that this information be communicated other women who just might take the time to read this review and not make the same mistakes I made. More

I thought great deal! when I showed up Mon the 15th the price had went to $21,850.00. First, they couldn't find the truck. when they found it. Not only was it not black with ebony interior, but hadn't even been detailed after being on the lot at the dodge auto center for 100 days. It looked like someone had just drove it from the cow lot. my appt. was at 12;00, we didn't start talking financing until 3;00. I had 2 trade-ins only was getting 500.00 apiece for them, which they booked for a least 3500.00 and 1000.00. Mgr made me feel like I was wasting his time. Then they brought up a 2006 single cab chevy with a v-6 in it. I told them at the beginning I needed something to pull a tractor on a 18ft trailer. What a JOKE! Would I recommend Roberts?? NO! More

Shady, Roberts started off nice but don't trust them. I purchased a used truck from them. At first they were super nice, everything was going good, then after I purchased it, it all went down hill. My tru I purchased a used truck from them. At first they were super nice, everything was going good, then after I purchased it, it all went down hill. My truck had a major oil leak that I didn't notice, and a front end issue that I recognized the next day. So my new truck was in the shop at Roberts for 2 weeks after I bought it. When I was called that it was ready, and drive back to Pryor to get, it was not ready, and in fact had to wait almost another week to get it. When I finally got it, my tag was due, but I could not get it because I had not received my title yet from Roberts. I had called them numerous times, never getting calls back and leaving messages about every other day. To date I still have not received my title or a finance check promised to me to help with tt and l.....Best part about it is that there was a lean placed on my truck through Roberts, which by law can not be done without a signed notarized title, that a still haven't received and my paper tag is out of date, so I'm going to be peniliezed for that and can't drive my truck until I get a tag for it, but can't because Roberts hasn't done its job.....but they got there money!! Waste of Time Called and asked about the 2004 Dodge Ram they had in inventory on their website. They replied with the truck is still available and will be waiting u Called and asked about the 2004 Dodge Ram they had in inventory on their website. They replied with the truck is still available and will be waiting up in front of the dealership when I got there to look at it. Once I arrived they told me the truck's engine does not work and will not start. It is ridiculous that they would advertise this vehicle as working on their website. Also after being told that the vehicle didn't work the salesman stated that we couldn't afford anything on that lot and told us to try their smaller dealership down the road. More

I’m from Little Rock, AR, 4 hr drive to Pryor I’ve been looking for a used Acura MDX for a couple of weeks, I searched the Internet on Tuesday August 19th, found one at Roberts for $27,500 - next day down to $27,000. Mileage 45,532. I called Wednesday, asked Sales rep to drive the car for me, he said car was great. I then asked him if I could possibly get $10K trade in for my 2004 Acura MDX 107,000 miles. I sent pictures. I described some minor scratches on the outside. He checked, texted back that “everything I wanted to accomplish was within reason”. Thursday, a sales Manager called and asked if I needed some help. I asked him if the $10K trade in was feasible. He said that they’d have to look at the condition. I mentioned I was worried about committing to a 4.5 hour drive without reassurance on the trade in. I drove to the dealer that Saturday, August 23rd. I drove the car when I got there, it was very nice. They came in with $5,000 for the trade in, then went to $6,000. They had not driven or looked at the interior of the car yet, as I had all the keys and locked the car. I was very upset at this time, as I didn’t think that the 5K or 6K was reasonable (compared to $10K). It appears that they didn’t really think of what price they could offer me, even though it was “within reason”, until I got there. I don’t think that it was based at all on the condition of the car because they didn’t drive it or look inside. I thought that if they’d told me that $10K was not reasonable before I drove 4.5 hours I wouldn’t be upset. I eventually decided to purchase the car for $27K, with a $6K trade in. They agreed, and while we were waiting on financing I filled out a review that they asked me to fill out. Well, I was upset at the time, and I wrote that “I thought they were screwing me and to call me for details”. A few minutes later a sales manager named Doug came out and told me he didn’t want to sell the car to me. That based on that review I wouldn’t be happy, and he wouldn’t be happy, that a sale didn’t do him any good. I tried to get him to understand about why I was upset about the $10K / 6$K within reason discrepancy but he either could not relate to that or would not admit to it. He had no respect for why I was upset at all. He said that I should have known that $10K was too much for the old car. Crazy part: he also said I was taking advantage of his dealership in this way: he said I had recognized that the 2011 MDX was not priced correctly, and was taking advantage of it. To make this clear what he was saying, I’ll give this example: imagine going to Wal Mart and seeing a 50 inch Sony LED tv with a $100 price tag. You know that’s too low, but try to purchase it at that price. He said that’s what I was trying to do to them. Incredulous. I’d given them several days to think about this deal, I’d seen the price drop $500 over the week, crazy to think I was exploiting the dealership I really didn’t want to leave without the car, as I thought that I would be even more upset. I told him I would not rate him on car sale sites with a 0 or 2 rating, so I’m not. I am though, writing this review to help other car buyers who may have to work with this dealership. When I left: • They didn’t help me move my stuff to the 2011 MDX. • The gas tank was empty with the empty light on, first stop was the gas station • The odometer was at 49K and change instead of 45,600. • The “requires service light” was on – I had to change oil and transmission fluid on the next business day. • They only gave me one key. • The car ran great. As I left town, I honestly kept my eye on rear view mirror for police after a stolen car. More
Stereotypical Car Salesmen - They Lie I spoke to a salesman about a vehicle on their website. It was not available anymore. He asked what I was looking for and I gave him my criteria. T I spoke to a salesman about a vehicle on their website. It was not available anymore. He asked what I was looking for and I gave him my criteria. Two weeks later he called me with "the perfect car". I live quite a drive away and could not come at that time. Another salesman called me a few days later, describing this car in glowing terms - one owner, clean, low miles, etc. Long story short - by the time I arrived, neither men were there. A third, very young salesman met me at the door. The car was crap. It was trashed on the interior. I can't even imagine what occurred in that car to make it look as it did. I don't understand how they thought this situation would turn out well for them. Stay away from Roberts Auto Group. More
Will Never Return Went to the dealership to buy 2 cars but ended up wasting our time! We drove several cars there that they but I could never get them to tell me the price of any of the cars. Kept being told that it depended on my credit score and what the bank said.... My credit should have nothing to do with how much the car cost! I'm not stupid but I felt that was the way were treated. The price of the car should be the price of the car and yes the payment may changed based on my credit but not the down right price of the car! Just felt like we got the run around over and over again so will NEVER return!!!! More
Not helpful I spoke to three different sales people concerning a vehicle. They each made promises to get information and call me back. None of them did. which i I spoke to three different sales people concerning a vehicle. They each made promises to get information and call me back. None of them did. which is why I tried to call back to talk to someone else. Same thing each time. Then I received an email from one of the same salesmen asking if I had questions about one of the vehicles I was not interested in due to it have a bad transmission. Funny! Maybe they are just very forgetful. I would not recommend this place. More
