I was informed that my trade vehicle had a misfire (as a former Technician for Honda and Audi and someone with a degree in automotive and diesel technology I know this to be untrue). The only evidence of this claim was that he could “feel it in his foot”; if the engine had a misfire the check engine light would be on and it would be throwing a diagnostic code (it is not). Further, if the vehicle had a misfire it would make the whole vehicle shudder. I will from here on out steer people clear of Prosper Ford, and since they have a sister dealership, Grapevine Ford as well. More

Stay away from the service department! They refuse to honor warranty work, even after a lengthy review process with the corporate warranty people. I guess these trucks are only built to go 2 years and 51k miles before the engine has a catastrophic failure. We loved working with Jacob Garza! When you go in please ask for him!!! He made customer service a top priority. He was knowledgeable about the car and we felt no pressure from him. We went to 4 other dealerships (Chevy and GMC) to make sure the Ford Expedition was what we needed… he showed us a car that was exactly what we were looking for and cut to the chase without any bullcrap. At the other dealers I felt the salespeople were kind of slimey and tricksy with their games. The other salespeople didn’t even know their cars and were just interested in making the sale and making it painfully obvious… well, we went back to Prosper Ford. They had the right car at the right price. Jacob was amazing! He was good at working around my 3 kids while we’re were completing applications and paperwork. We were in and out of there much faster than I thought we would be. Justin the desk manager also made sure we had a good experience. Now when I came to sitting in the room with the finance manager Curtis to ensure the paperwork was filled out correctly and completely, he explained everything well and in detail and answered all of our questions.
