Drove 133 miles to shop here again Returned our Jeep Patriot and leased a 2015 Jeep Cherokee. Process was great as we expected. Brian was very friendly. We're a little disappointed that Jeep hid the fact that the V6 Cherokee should run on 89 octane instead of 87. The window sticker specifically said "regular," but buried in the owners manual you will find: "3.2L Engine Your engine is designed to meet all emissions regulations and provide satisfactory fuel economy and performance when using high quality unleaded gasoline having an octane range of 87 to 89. The manufacturer recommends the use of 89 octane premium gasoline for optimum performance." Cherokee ran fine on 87 until we read this. Too soon to tell if the 89 we're using now made a difference. In no way would I fault the dealership when the manufacturer left the octane recommendation off of the window sticker. More
