This dealership is top-notch from sales to service. I am a friend of Troy Clifton and he always makes sure we receive excellent care. Jessie in service is my new service manager and he was awesome. I am a friend of Troy Clifton and he always makes sure we receive excellent care. Jessie in service is my new service manager and he was awesome. He was great to work with and took the best care of my Highlander making sure I’m covering all of the maintenance needed at the appropriate time. We just purchased our 4th car from Priority Toyota. My car wouldn't start (electric). I did not realize the auxiliary battery had to have a decent charge on it to engage the main battery. According to Virginia DMV they have to monitor my mileage for payment of road tax. All electric cars must install a WiFi transmitter on their OBD detector connection. Since I had a back operation my car had sat for 20 days (I was not medically cleared to drive). The little device drained my auxiliary battery. Car was towed to the dealer and the issues was addressed properly and battery charged. My interaction with the service department was outstanding and Nancy Showers (my service contact) took the time to explain in detail the issue and suggested adding trickle charger to the battery. I can now drive and charge both batteries regularly. The issue is resolved by driving more frequently and charging the car batteries together using the main charger connection. I did my own test, measuring the aux, battery before and after the initiation of car charge. Sure enough the main car charger charges both batteries together, no need to charge the aux. battery separately unless I will not be driving very often. My other option is to remove the monitor device from the OBD connection and remembering to re-install it before I drive. I want to complement the service department for their professional and complete explanation of the issue. Also Nancy should receive a pat on the back (at least) for her polite and technical explanation of my issues. I have recently bought two new cars, a 2023 BZ4X and a 2024 Camry XSE (both in 2023) from Priority and with good Service and Sales I will soon buy my next vehicle, a used truck, from them. These days it's hard to find a good service and sales department at the same location. I found both at Priority Toyota, Chesapeake. P.S Mary and Dakota (also in Sales) deserve a "pat on the back too!" All my interactions with the staff has been professional and courteous. I do not like change, so Nancy and Mary will be my main "go to persons." Keep up the good work!, "I'll be back," that's an Arnold quote !! More
