I bought my car 2 months ago “certified pre owned” and it has already had to have the alternator replaced (which I was going to have to pay for until I mentioned my warranty) I had to get a rental car, for w has already had to have the alternator replaced (which I was going to have to pay for until I mentioned my warranty) I had to get a rental car, for what they said would only take 1-2 days and ended up being 9….. LUCKILY my warranty covers up to 10 days however, I still have yet to even HEAR about the claim submitted to the warranty company so that I can get my money back from that. I already somehow need new brakes, and there is a knocking noise when braking that wasn’t fixed when the car was in the shop to be fixed. I have to take my car back AGAIN for the second time in two months to figure out what’s wrong now…. Nobody seems to care that I JUST bought the car, all they are worried about is getting their $$$$. My wife and I were looking to purchase a Ridgeline and decided to visit Priority Honda while we were in town visiting family. Everything seemed well in the beginning, but we first started having issues wh decided to visit Priority Honda while we were in town visiting family. Everything seemed well in the beginning, but we first started having issues when trying to get answers about the engine warranty disclaimers. We were fed different info from two employees on whether or not we had to bring the truck to this location for oil changes to stay under warranty. Got further clarification from the manager a week or so later and from reading further into the documentation we took home. The next big issue that arose was when the salesman, Quinn was going over features of the higher trim Ridgeline. He mentioned the truck bed had speakers in it. We thought this was a great feature to have for camping and the outdoors. Once we got the truck home and I looked into how to get the bed speakers to play. Well it turns out the truck doesn't come with speakers in the bed. That was for 2023 models. I feel like your job is to know your products. Especially the latest and greats versions that have been out for 6 months. So that was really disappointing. Manager reached out said it was a great learning opportunity for them. Fantastic... that doesn't fix anything. A couple weeks later after the purchase we get a call back from the finance department. Looks like they messed up the payments by putting the tax in the wrong fields. We had to redo some of the paperwork. I am worried what the rest of my days dealing with this place for the warranty will look like... who can I trust there? If you can, I would look elsewhere for a Honda. I would suggest Reggie Jackson Honda in Raleigh NC. Their sales and service department are absolutely top notch. More
