Salesman was rude and dismissive I drove down from Williamsburg on Saturday to look at the Odysseys on their lot, with the intent to purchase one, if it met our needs. I was very disappointed in the treatment of my family. The man (Tim) who showed us the vans was extremely helpful and polite, answering all our questions. However, the salesman, Jay, seemed indifferent to our needs and dismissive of our offer, as if our offer somehow insulted him. We found a likely candidate and talked about it with thesales rep. We made a cash offer on a four-year-old van that has been on theirlot for more than five months. The sales rep said that he can’t do anything for us and cannot negotiate a price lower than the one he already gave us. His dismissal of our offer without discussion was both disrespectful and dismissive. At this point I can’t imagine what offer they might give that would persuade my family and me to drive back to that kind of treatment. More
