We originally went to Priority Honda Hampton because of the Priorities for Life but we’d be faithful customers without that benefit! More

He was very kind and professional asked us upfront if we wanted him to wear a mask as we went during COVID-19. As a person that is high risk that went a long way with me. Mr. Hoe didn't stop there he went above and beyond to get us into a new vehicle, such as going to bat for us and getting the payments where we wanted them and not necessarily what was good for them. There was a lot of back and forth at this point and I never felt like he was not fighting for us and always put our interests ahead of the dealership. Once we got financing settled he continued to go above and beyond. He followed us to the gas station and not only put gas in the new vehicle but filled it up. He also has put his personal cell number on his business card so that if we have questions we can call him directly. For him it never about earning money but all about the customer. Thank You again Mr. Hoe for everything!!!!!!! More

I tried every Car App searching nationally and “trolled” every dealership in the tidewater area. I made accounts, joined them, and allowed them to send me notifications. I “chatted” with computers representing themselves as people late at night during my searches. I “chatted” with people who acted like robots only able to repeat policy. All of this to no avail. It did, however, require me to conduct plenty of research and compile a great deal of facts about how companies were handling their businesses during this stressful time. Some promised to deliver, but only if you pay extra because I was outside of their delivery area, and if I would travel to Mayland to drop off “Trade-in” because it was the nearest location. Others said we are not transferring any vehicles in at this time. You will have to deal with that branch. Still, another promised to handle all my needs in one location. They looked at me with a straight face and offered me 4k for my “Trade-in.” A “Trade-in” that Kelly/Bluebook stated was 11k at the top end, 9K in the middle, and 7k on the low end. They are still sending me emails about how great their offer is and want to know how they can help me. On a last-ditch effort, I went through all of the Car Dealerships in the Tidewater area, but this time I had my search honed. If you didn’t have what I was looking for, I was in and out of the website in two minutes. That was until I searched Priority Honda Hampton’s website. First, I found a hopeful candidate vehicle, and it was in my “backyard” so to speak. All of a sudden, I was greeted by a “representative,” named Michelle. Now keep in mind it is past midnight, and combine that with the other experiences with computers that impersonating people thus far. To say I was skeptical is an understatement. She was very pleasant. Then she answered my questions intelligently, not like a robot at all, and then she asked for my full name. “Uh oh,” now it was on. I was in doubt. It was later or early depending on your philosophical bent, so I straight out asked her if she was a computer. Her response took me by surprise. She was very professional, and she reassured me that she was in fact human even at the late hour. She continued to answer my questions thoroughly and politely. At the end, she asked if she could pass on my information to a representative who would be their during office hours and would be glad to answer two of my questions that could not be answered at that time. To be fair, she could not have answered them at that time. One question was, “Had the car been smoked in?” The second question was, “What happened to the front fender flares on the Jeep?” The questions were very important to me, and no other company ever attempted to answer the smoke in the care question. Michelle did. The next day, or hours later, I received a text from a very nice and polite person named Annie. She asked me if it would be okay to text me at this number. Now I was busy, and I did not expect much, so this was perfect for me. She asked me If anyone had contacted me to answer my questions. I thought, “What!” “This is a first!” I answered, “No, Ma’am, no has.” She asked me to give her a moment. She returned with a text message of about seven new pictures of the Jeep out front on display. She stated that “She had just opened the vehicle during the time she was out there and sat inside to smell if it had been smoked in.” She said, “It had not been smoked in,” I thought to myself, “now how hard was that, and why was no other dealer able or willing to do that?” Annie did. It just took her a few minutes to take care of my 1st two concerns. By taking care of those, I felt we could move to my other concerns. As we texted on and off throughout the day, she waited patiently for my questions and then quickly and professionally answered them. She finally asked me if I would like to come in today for a test drive. She went on to inform me that because of the current social situation that they were only seeing people by appointment. It made sense to me. It is the same everywhere else; I just wasn’t ready because I had not brought my wife up to speed from the car search the night before. I asked Annie for her hours of operation for the day, and if I could contact her back. She was not pushy. She was pleasant. She said that “She would be happy to hear from me.” I talked to my wife. We figured that this was important enough to rearrange our day, especially since I was able to get many of my questions answered already, so I texted Annie back for a 5 pm appointment. Now, here is where Murphy’s Law comes into play. As we were heading to Priority Honda Hampton, my daughter texted me that she needed my help. Well, since she is pregnant, we both felt obliged to help her out. Well, wouldn’t you know it, no sooner did we turn around than an engine idiot light came on the dashboard. We thought that is it. I texted Annie canceling our appointment, and we dropped the car off at the garage overnight to be looked at the next morning after we helped my daughter. You didn’t think I was going to leave her hanging, did you? Well, the next day was bad for my wife. She works in the medical field, and things are crazy right now, as you can imagine. Finally, the garage calls back with an invoice of over $600 to fix the car. That sent my wife over the edge for a moment, so I took her out of the equation for a moment. She had too much on her plate to help make a decision. I admit that I was taking a chance, but something told me that during this time, I should “lay all my cards on the table,” especially with someone as respectful as Annie, so I texted her. I told her the whole “series of unfortunate events,” and that is why I canceled my appointment from the day before. Annie texted, “Hold on a minute.” When she texted back, she said, “Don’t spend another dime on that car. Bring it here so we can see what we can do.” With that, I was “in for a penny in for a pound” kind of situation. I’ve always been told to have your car looking its best because it will be picked over, but something inside me said, “what do you have to lose?” “You can always walk away.” So I went all in, I let Annie know all my research, and what it had revealed. I let her know the offers I had. I let her know her to know what my bank and I had discussed and the numbers we ran. I had folders of stuff, I just texted it all to her the best I could. She texted back, “Don’t worry about that.” “We will look at all that when you get here.” “I will set you up with our best Sales Consultant, BO, and our best Finance Manager, Mike, when you get here. Who knew that Annie was a marriage counselor as well because, as it turned out, my wife was just as upset over it as I was, but she had no time to discuss it. She was glad to have that part resolved. Thank you, Annie. When we arrive, the first person we see is Mike, one of the very people that Annie said she would introduce us to. Mike said, “Let me get BO.” Both of them were very friendly and professional. BO went to get the Jeep, brought it over for us to look at. Mike said, “I will see you when you get back.” “I’ll have everything ready for you.”We took our test drive. Everyone knows that we loved it. Of course, we’d spent so much time looking for it. Annie even texted me to make sure that we were the ones in the Jeep; she was worried someone else got it. She was very sweet to check on us. Now comes the part that takes hours, days even. I dreaded getting this far only to be shut down this late in the game, but we went back. To my surprise, for the first time ever, everyone was nice, professional, and willing to help to make the deal happen. Keep in mind, I wasn’t expecting the world, but we were treated like humans like our time and business were important. Mike got the information that he needed. He whisked away, saying, “I’ve got this for you.” Even Brian, the Business Development Manager, you know the Head of Internet Sales, Michelle and Annie’s boss showed up; He talked to us while BO deftly compiled the information he needed to get the process moving. They all seemed to work in tandem like a well-oiled machine. Mike returned with the offer. He said this is the best I can do almost apologetic. His offer was spot on, better than any others. Was it perfect for me? No, we knew we were upside down in our car. We knew we were going to have to make it up somewhere in the deal, but here at Priority Honda Hampton, we were treated like humans. We were not discarded as a nuisance or subjected to “doublespeak” to confuse us and separate us from our money. No, here at Priority Honda Hampton, we were treated as partners in how are we going to solve this situation? What can we both do to get this deal done? They were very helpful down to the last detail. Now keep in mind that it is late, and their dealership is closed. They were not like “It’s time for you to go like the others.” “No.” BO stayed by our side the whole time, putting out fires as they arose. Making sure all the details were correct so that when we finally found ourselves in Wesley’s Office, he is the Business Manager, everything was ready. We were already prepared for what Wesley was going to ask us. We had a chance to make an informed decision before we even saw him. It wasn’t like it was necessary. Wesley was polite, patient, and a pleasure to work with. He explained everything until we understood and were satisfied. Now a side note for BO. The whole team was so wonderful at what they do that I asked BO during our time together that if he found us another vehicle of a certain type that we would be interested. He and his team are so good at what they do; I believe we will be looking at another vehicle very soon. I cannot sing the praises of the staff at Priority Honda Hampton enough. I have bought 15 cars in my time from different dealerships and different people almost all bad, but I have never had such a positive experience as I had today with the wonderful people of Priority Honda Hampton. I can’t thank you enough. If you are considering buying a car, these are the people you want to deal with. There are no others who compare. More

The headlight worked according to the Virginia state laws found on the .gov website, no wires, no cracks, its a brand new 2019 headlight, clear no film, head light not cracked back or front, headlight was not loose. They also said it would cost $660 to fix the one bracket in the back of the headlight. I wouldn't even go attempt to go there for an inspection, because they failed it for headlights" even though they work properly. And attempting to charge $660 to fix one bracket.
