My experience with Principle BMW of San Antonio was exceptional to say the least. I won’t be back. I have taken my 2013 BMW 128i to this dealership for 4 years for some maintenance. I always expect to somewhat more than I would at a non-BMW shop I have taken my 2013 BMW 128i to this dealership for 4 years for some maintenance. I always expect to somewhat more than I would at a non-BMW shop that works on foreign cars. But this was ridiculous. My wife spilled a cup of coffee on the passenger seat and apparently destroyed the air bag sensor that is located under the seat in a control box. I looked up on line what the average cost was to replace the sensor. I figured maybe $1,200. I received an estimate of $3,600! The service advisor said that because there are not many “1” series BMWs out there, it was a big deal to find a part. Needless to say, I declined to have the work done. I should add that although the service advisor was a very nice young woman, she did not seem to know beans about cars. More
