Great Experience on my lease!!! I went in to get a much needed new minivan and I had an easy and stressless experience. Disrespectful and rude customer service I called to change my appointment time and first I was put on hold and then disconnected, and when I called back the same person denied disconnecting I called to change my appointment time and first I was put on hold and then disconnected, and when I called back the same person denied disconnecting me and switched me to the wrong voicemail. I called back, asked for the head of customer service, and left him a message to call me back. He called back and his first words were "What do you want?" I said "Excuse me?" He said "Listen, I am short staffed today and have some guy giving me a hard time." I said, "Which guy would that be?" and he actually replied "You!" Of course, I found another place to service my Toyota, but if this is how the dealership treats a customer who has two bought/leased two Toyotas with them, a lease expiring on one, and has been loyal to the dealership since 2009, let the buyer beware! Of course, I called Toyota to formally complain but they have no teeth at all when it comes to the dealerships and they've lost a customer (I actually love the Prius and would have been a Toyota customer for life). But there are such things as principles, and I will not be treated disrespectfully, dismissively, as a nuisance and the reason for his bad day. I even asked for a dialogue to discuss the situation with the guy I was dealing with, the head of customer service at Prestige Kingston, and he texted me "Good luck with your termination." I was shocked. More
