Great prices and people! Found Audi A5 on Autotrader. Made an appointment - loved the car. Bought it and very happy about it. Do not take these guys words for anything. They do not keep their end of the deal. Everything seemed fine so I thought the bad reviews were exaggerated but I was wrong. I should have had the bank mail the check to me so I could make sure everything was 100% done when I picked up the car. Now I’m almost at the end of the warranty and they keep saying parts they need have been on preset. BS. More
nice friendly people - until the car I bought was "delayed" in getting to me after I'd paid. Then they seemed rushed to get me off the phone. My mistake. Responsive Team and Reasonable Prices Needed a car under 6k that was fuel efficient and safe to drive and Prestige took care of it. Bought a 2007 Prius from them last week. I told them I Needed a car under 6k that was fuel efficient and safe to drive and Prestige took care of it. Bought a 2007 Prius from them last week. I told them I needed everything ready in 5 days and they delivered the car to me in Weymouth on time, as promised along with 3/4 tank of fuel. They were accommodating of payment needs and were very patient with my many many checkup calls. When I test drove the AC wasn't working and they made sure that was fixed. They also took care of the RMV needs and ensured everything was good to go. There are still some minor issues that need resolved however nothing that makes the car unusable or unsafe and at this price honestly that was expected. Thank you prestige team, much appreciated. Don’t take delivery until 100% of their promises are kept! While we overall got a reasonable deal on our vehicle Prestige failed in delivering good service. Before you issue them final payment and take delivery make sure they have completed 100% of anything you expect from them. The vehicle we picked out needed tires and had a small oil and coolant leak. When we picked up the car the TPMS light was still on and there was still coolant in the engine compartment. They told us the TPMS light would go out after the sensors were learned by the computer and the coolant was residual from the report. Well, the next day the TPMS light was still on and now there’s oil and coolant on our driveway. So I return to Prestige where they take the car for a day and half to have their mechanic check the leaks and look at the tires. When I pick up the car again, TPMS light is still on and there’s still oil and coolant visible in the engine compartment and they say their mechanic looked and there’s nothing leaking. So I leave the dealer and go home, pressure wash the driveway and engine compartment. The next morning there’s new oil and coolant in the engine compartment and on the driveway. So back again we go... the mechanic takes the car for another day and half. So I picked up the car directly from their mechanic this time and I see they actually did some work so I’m breathing relief, for about 10 minutes. I pull over for lunch and I get out of the car and smell coolant!!! Sure enough now I actually see the coolant leaking out of a heater hose!!!! Needless to say I’m fuming at this point. Now they want the car back AGAIN!! After all the money on Uber and asking friends for rides for all the back and forth I told them absolutely not, I’m getting the car fixed elsewhere and you can pay the bill! So he finally offers us a loaner which was a good gesture but the mechanic now takes the car for 3 days to replace a heater hose!! The other issue we had was we asked for the vehicles second key, the salesperson said he would order us a key and that they had a local person they work with that would program the key for us for around $50-75. We’re a month and a half later and I’ve made 4 visits to Prestige and no key! Now the salesperson says they’re waiting to get another vehicle of the same make with 2 keys so they can give us the other. If you buy from them just make sure 100% of what you expect is done before you drive away with the car!! More
The Epitome of the Slimy Car Salesmen Stereotype I rarely, if ever, write reviews, but in this case I feel that for exceptionally bad service, Prestige Motor Sales deserves an extremely low rating. After negotiating for a very favorable price on a car my family was keen on, we put down a deposit with the intention of coming back the next week to pick the car up after the dealership had finished inspecting and reworking the car. A few days before we were set to come pick the car up we called in just to see how things were going, and instead of getting an update on the car we had agreed to purchase and had already put a deposit on, the salesman we had negotiated with informed us that the car was no longer available because someone else had purchased it. Of course, we were outraged that not only had the dealership reneged on our deal, but also that they had neglected to inform us. Furthermore, neither the salesman we had dealt with or the owner of the dealership showed any remorse, both claiming that it was not their fault that they had failed to uphold their end of our bargain. To make up for their transgressions, they offered to sell us a different car, although refused to offer any sort of compensation or discount beyond returning our deposit. I wonder, though, if we had been the ones to back out of our original deal, would the dealership have bothered to refund our deposit? Would they have bothered to inform us of the other buyer? From what I can tell about the business practices of this dealership, I highly doubt it. In this world you are only as good as your word and in the case of Prestige Motor Sales, their word means little to nothing. I am rating them as such. More
