I lease a Lexus from Prestige in Ramsey and wanted all prospective buyers/lease customers to know that you WILL NOT receive QUALITY customer service when dealing with Lexus. When you buy or lease a LEXUS prospective buyers/lease customers to know that you WILL NOT receive QUALITY customer service when dealing with Lexus. When you buy or lease a LEXUS you are buying their supposed 'luxury and quality' but this is not the case. Should you experience any collision with your vehicle, they will NOT provide you the service of a loaner -- even if the repair is just something that takes ONE DAY! You're on your own to rent a car. This type of policy is RIDICULOUS considering I've had loaners for more than three days when LEXUS PRESTIGE was trying to trouble shoot an alignment problem on my vehicle. How is this justifiable?? Their policy needs to be realistic -- if your body work is more than three days, then I could understand them wanting the customer to get a rental (however, the customer still should receive the 3-day loaner and then go to a rental if necessary). To blatantly exclude even those customers who have minimal collision repair from receiving a loaner is unfathomable and plain stupid. I PERSONALLY WILL NEVER AGAIN LEASE OR PURCHASE A LEXUS. We all should NOT forget Lexus = Toyota after all. BMW...here I come! More
I got a car accident and we showed our concern that it is going out of control due to acceleration pedal issue. They hold up the car, insurance inspector could not see the car. They just won't standby consumer, make one phone call or consider anything. Please if you want to buy Lexus by somewhere else never buy from this Dealership. What salesperson and technical guys car mechanics would not be sorry EVEN IF TOYOTA CEO SAID SORRY !!!! More
I visited this dealership before and the sales consultant I dealt with could not give me a desirable offer for the LEXUS IS F. Two-Three days later I contacted the same dealership but this time I was looking for Gene Moretti and he gave me an offer better than what I have been asking every other dealership for. He even honored the pricing that we had agreed to over the phone, when I came in I was definitively surprised that he honored it and he was very friendly and helpful. There was no gimmicks and no games with Gene Moretti it was straight to the point. He's very knowledgeable in all the vehicles and he stayed behind after closing hours to help me get familiar with my IS F. Gene Moretti will by far is the best sales consultant I have ever met and dealt with. Just give him a call and let him know what you're interested and he'll have things prepared and ready for you when you come in. Gene Moretti's number is (201) 258-6173 and tell him that Leon referred you. I have called Joel Cohen from Ray Catena but their pricing was not as great as the one that Gene Moretti gave me and another thing is that it took Joel Cohen a while to call me back and update me, I had to call to him and see what was the status of his search for the car and the pricing. I was shopping for a new Lexus RX350 and a friend recommended Prestige Lexus Because he had a great experience there. I had never been to Prestige Lexus but it was impressive and everyone was very friendly and nice. I met with Bill and he showed me the car and let me drive it and it was everything that I had heard about and then some. We came back to the store and sat down and figured a lease and payment plan for the RX and Bill even introduced me to his boss, Eric who was even able to make the deal a little bit more affordable. I was very impressed with everybody's professionalism and I am happy to say that I have been driving my new 2009 Lexus RX350 for 2 months now and I have never had a nicer car or so much fun driving, even in snowy weather! My compliments to the wonderful staff at Prestige Lexus, espically Bill Lamb and Eric Rubenstein for making my new car shopping experience one of the nicest that I have ever had and Prestige has certainly earned my respect. More
I visited the Prestige Lexus dealership in Ramsey, NJ and looked at the RX 350. The Sales Person I dealt with was Bill Lamb. He was very helpful and honest. He went out of his way to make me satisfied and stayed longer at work to wait for me to get there when I got off work. He wasn't too pushy and allured me to make my own decision. He was also very knowledgeable on the make of the car. You could tell he made an extra effort to help me out in any way he could. A very great sales rep and deserves to be complimented on his work ethic. I would highly recommend Prestige Lexus of Ramsey to anyone who is interested in purchasing a Lexus. Thanks!! More
The customer service and schemes they try to pull at this dealership are so ridiculous it is hard to believe if you weren't there. Lie after lie, scheme after scheme, these two are sleazier than the sleazie dealership are so ridiculous it is hard to believe if you weren't there. Lie after lie, scheme after scheme, these two are sleazier than the sleaziest of used car salesmen I can even imagine. I had an appointment to drive 2.5 hours to look at a vehicle that was being held. As chief of my own hospital, I had to close early and arrange this, and needed assurance the vehicle would be there by the time I arrived. They called me after I had left to tell me someone was buying "my vehicle" but to wait, they would verify. 30 minutes later, it was a different one that someone drove off in, but someone else was looking at "my car", they needed non-refundable $1000 to hold my vehicle because someone was trying to buy it right then. These two salesmen go back and forth and work the schemes together, both saying they will check on the car; problem is, they can't keep their story straight. One would be telling me one car was sold, the other saying the other car was sold and by the other salesman. Unbelieveable, is this actually Lexus? More
I went to a couple of dealerships in PA and NJ to buy a new ES350. Nobody wanted to sell me the car the price i wanted. I heard a lot of good things about prestige lexus in ramsey and called them. I spoke to Bill lamb and i i told him what i was looking for. He called me back within 5 minutes and the deal was made. I bought the car at the price i wanted which was 2500-300 less that what other dealers were asking. Bill Lamb is very highly recommended. Hassle free car shopping and the best car shopping experience i ever had. More
I was at Prestige this weekend to accompany a friend who was looking to lease a new RX. I was also interested in getting an RX and previously purchased an IS350 from another Lexus dealership, so I wanted t was looking to lease a new RX. I was also interested in getting an RX and previously purchased an IS350 from another Lexus dealership, so I wanted to check these guys out, because I was told they were a high volume dealership that would give good deals. I was in such shock at how poor the salesperson (Bill) was, I am still amazed. 1. His knowledege of the product was very poor. 2. He kept leaving us "to clarify some numbers", presumably with his mamager. He would leave for 15-20 minutes. Finally, we got fed up and we told him we were leaving. 3. In the meantime, we showed him documentary proof of a prior lease and he could not get with $4,000 of the price, with NO explanation. Basically, the same RX, same features and a $4,000 difference with NO EXPLANATION. Would you buy from him under those conditions. 4. The sales manager came out to speak with us, but abruptly left when he was told my friend was in the mens room. (I guess the fact that I was a potential customer - hopefully in the next eight weeks - didn't matter). He felt NO need to show me any courtesy. 5. They made NO attempt to counter offer or keeps us there, the sales guy was like "see ya". Overally, I was shocked at how collectively rude both the sales person and the sales manager are at this dealership. I would NOT buy a car from them if they sold it to me below dealer cost. It is EASILY the worst dealership I have ever been to. I would NOT recommend them as they have a really sleezy feel. More
I had went to prestige since it is close by to my home for a price on a new ES350. I was given a salesmen who quickly handled me off to his sale assistant Jason who wouldn't talk pricing and had little to for a price on a new ES350. When we returned the sales man Warren came back and I was finnally given a very high price and when I decided to walk away the salesman wouldn't let me go until I talked to his sales manger. He brings over this manger who must be 20 years old and 7 feet tall. What a joke and goes and tells me all this b/s how I will never get the car at the price I want. I felt like I was buying a chevy 20 years ago with the way I was made to talk to a manger who def has no experience with the way he spoke down to me. I left and called Ray Catena and they even went lower then I thought and they brought the car to me. This from not even going to the dealership or ever dealing with them. That next day I get a call from some other manger and tells me I can have the car for the price I wanted. Sorry to late! I really feel this dealership takes advantage of it's clientele because they know how wealthy the local residents are! I have warned serval people already not to go! More
I have been dealing with prestige since 2000. I lease and have my car serviced by them. Im on my 2nd gs300.
