We appreciate your continued business and loyalty over the years. We understand that when your vehicle was brought in, you were concerned about rusted bolts that you believed should be covered on warranty. In reviewing the car details and warranty information, our technician advised that nothing under defect. He had then invited your father in to look at the car and showed him where the fault was. The rear sway bar end link bolts were, in fact, loose, with wrench marks on the stripped bolts which required two tools to remove the bar. These stripped bolts were clear evidence of someone having adjusted them with the improper tool. Had these bolts been adjusted by a Lexus certified technician, with the appropriate tool, there would have never been damage done. We have photos of the vehicle that we can provide showing that there was tampering with the rear suspension It is not a defect that caused this and therefore would not be covered under Lexus Warranty.
