Ms. Sherman/ We don't agree with this review and, actually believe that it is pretty unfair and inaccurate. As you know, we have been working with you - via email and online - since April, 2015 (almost one year). We have more than 250 communications back and forth with you and, have provided you with all of the information you may have requested. You have worked with the same two people throughout this process Our email content included detailed pricing information, necessary deposit information and, interest rate programs based on factory sponsored programs that are available. The pricing provided to you was via the TrueCar program, as you submitted a lead under this program. We are very confident that no other dealer would have beat our price, nor, had any terms for low interest financing that we didn't have since all factory programs for each dealer are identical. Nobody at our dealership was rude to you - we enjoyed meeting you and petting your dog. We are sorry that things didn't work out at our dealership for you, but, we believe we have handled this matter professionally and with the respect that we always show our customers. As you know, many organizations wouldn't stay in touch with a prospective customer - for one year. We were patient with you during your process and remained willing to assist you. Thank you for your feedback. Under the laws of the State of Connecticut, there is a dealer conveyance fee that is charged. In our last survey of conveyance fees of franchised dealers in Connecticut - those fees ranged from $450-$700. Our conveyance fee has been set at $498 for many years now. This fee supports many things, including the secured storage of the documents that most customers would be concerned with - ones that contain sensitive information. These fees are not intended, nor do any of them assessed by any dealership, cover the cost to register or record a lien on a vehicle - something that is charged separately by the State of Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles. At our dealership, we have state required signage that identifies the purpose of the fees and the amount of such fees. These items are also identified on the purchase and sale agreements. Premier Subaru is a full disclosure dealership and, discloses all fees. Our owner is former banker and truly cares about the management and proper destruction of customer information. We are completely compliant with all Federal and State regulations and, handle our client's information with sensitivity and care. As you shop for a vehicle, you will find that our conveyance fee, as recorded with the State, is amongst the lowest.
