Buying a new car Last Thursday my husband and I began our search for a new car to replace our '07 Legacy. Although at our ages we don't like the trip to Branford (Dan Perkins in Milford would be much easier.), we have been happy with our treatment at Premier in the past and thus decided to start there. Ted Astarita greeted us and guided us through the process, although it was his day off and he was there only to receive a shipment. He was gracious, professional and helpful in spite of his situation. After taking a test drive in a new Forester, my husband declared we need not look any further. Our pick up date was scheduled for Tuesday. On Friday with the weathermen predicting snow for Tuesday, I called and left a message for Ted requesting that the pick up be rescheduled for Monday afternoon, if possible. We were graciously accommodated. Again, Ted was very patient with us, explaining all the features and workings of our new car. We met with Adam Arsenault to complete all the paper work and it was a pleasure to work with him as well. As retired business owners, my husband and I recognize the importance of good customer service. We can honestly say we have always found it at Premier Subaru! More

So frustrated! I was waiting for an advertised used outback that was being certified and reconditioned for over three weeks. No problem. They said when the car arrived at the dealership that i would be the first one they called, instead I had to call several times to check up on the car's status. On my last call I was told the car would be ready the following Tuesday so I made an appointment to come in and look at it on that day. To my surprise I received a call on that Tuesday morning that the car had been sold the previous day. I was really looking forward to working with this dealership because it seems like so many customers have a great experience. Unfortunately mine was not so great! More

Not a fan I have not had good experiences with this dealership. About 4 years ago I was in the market for a used Subaru, they were not very helpful in getting m I have not had good experiences with this dealership. About 4 years ago I was in the market for a used Subaru, they were not very helpful in getting me the car I wanted, and did not seem to care. They obviously did not want my business. I did get a Subaru at another dealership but decided to give Premier another chance to redeem themselves by taking my car to them for recall service. Everything went fine with scheduling, dropping off and the shuttle to my job, the problem was with the pick up to return me to the dealership. For afternoon transportation for clients they use Uber, now I do understand they have no control over Uber (one of the drivers was verbally abusive) but that's another story. I waited in the freezing cold for 40.minutes to be picked up because Uber had the wrong address, even after I spoke to someone in the service department to make sure Uber had the correct address. The icing on the cake is that although the person at the service department said he was sorry, he really did not seem all that concerned. You would think if one of their customers reported they were verbally abused and had been waiting in the cold for 40 minutes because of an error on their end they would have been a little more concerned or apologetic. I left Premier Subaru, once again feeling that they really do not care too much about customer service. 2/1/2018 I appreciate the response but I need to correct you. As I stated in my original review I have been to your dealership to buy a car, however it was over 4 years ago. I did not have a good experience then either, and was trying to give you a second chance. The other issue is the problem with Uber was that they were given the wrong address by your staff. The Uber driver that finally picked me up showed me what address he was given and it was not the address I gave you, or the one I was shown on my paperwork. Not sure what happened More

My sales person, Sean Gadar, did not push in either direction. He just educated me on each model and did not pressure me in any way. When , it came time to buy a Forester, he was very professional and thorough throughout the transaction. Even after, the deal was done, he went out of his way to explain all aspects of my new car. His attitude made the experience very pleasant. I would also say that Rodney Pomerleau made the paperwork part as painless as possible. This is the second car I purchased here and I have been satisfied with my experiences. More
