Wheel Fell Off while on Highway after Brake service My Dad recently had his brakes fixed at this location (Premier Cape Cod), before heading down to Florida for a vacation. He drove all the way down to My Dad recently had his brakes fixed at this location (Premier Cape Cod), before heading down to Florida for a vacation. He drove all the way down to Florida fine, once he got to Florida after hours driving he noticed a loud noise and decided to call Premier Cape Cod back to see if it was possible that this had anything to do with the brake service. They assured us that, we could bring it back to them once we got back so they could take care of it. Guess what... The wheel fell off the car while driving (Driver Front Wheel), the car dragged itself off to the side of the road going at about 60 mph. Gladly nobody was injured and luckily he didn't hit any car. So at this point I was with him, and I called the premier Cape Cod and talked to one of their manager and he told me to do what we had to do, and once we got back to Cape Cod they would get with us to reimburse what we had to pay down in Florida. Moral of the story, I spent more/less $1,500.00 at Premiere Cape Cod the first time, and the second time we paid the Florida Jeep Dealer another $800.00. Guess what the problem was? loose bolts.... loose bolts... that is mechanics 101. How the xxxx a jeep dealer lets this happens? not only that but we could've gotten into a much worse accident and then what? Now they won't help us with the costs and they can't call their insurance because we didn't hit anybody else's car? This is ridiculous, I am not sure what else to do other than Small Claims or something, and even small claims might not take care of this. That was easy We were turning in our Audi diesel (per the recall) and decided to buy a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. We are only on the Cape part time. Had to buy the car on Monday to have it by Wednesday when we were scheduled to turn in our Audi. We met Mike Del Buono, he and his staff helped us find the right Jeep, get the paper work processed and the transaction finalized right away. Mike met me at the Audi dealer Wed AM, picked me up after turning in my car, Jeep was totally ready to go and they delivered the hard top to the house the next week. Great experience, good selection, and Mike has the can do spirit and knowledge to make the transaction about as seemless as possible. Would highly recommmend.
