My salesman Mark Letcher was polite and professional. He was very knowledgeable about the different cars and trim levels. I never felt rushed or stressed. The whole experience was relaxed. They made sure all options were presented. The gentleman who helped me in the finance department was great to I just can’t remember his name. They answered every question I had. Untrustworthy Normally I wouldn’t write a review for a negative experience however I believe this particular experience is deserving of such a review. Being a car enthusiast I’ve purchased several cars all around the country over the years. I can honestly say I have never had a more frustrating, negative, and shady experience as I have with Precision Toyota in Tucson, AZ. After a couple of weeks of unsuccessfully trying to put together a deal on a late model used vehicle, they contacted on a Sunday offering me a better price to which I agreed. After open of business on Monday I was presented the final price with some additional fees that I questioned and finally agreed to. In a subsequent phone discussion with the sales manager I was informed they couldn’t accept a deposit at this time because they had booked sales appointments now that they had lowered the price. At this point I had been working on the deal for weeks, had agreed to purchase the vehicle prior to any other appointments being made, offered a deposit, a copy of the check from my bank for the final payment, and the airline information for the flight I’d be taking later in the week for pick-up. Keep in mind they were more than willing to accept a deposit from me a couple weeks prior at the higher price. Seems to me they lowered the price to draw in customers, which is a standard dealership practice and I accept that, however to sell the car out from under me in order to generate more buyers interest is pretty shady and frustrating. I put a lot of time into this transaction only to be misled in the end. GOOD LUCK if you’re purchasing anything from Precision Toyota in Tucson, AZ. Experience trying to buy a new Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro I really hoped to purchase a 2020 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro from this dealer, but came away very disappointed. The sales people offered me $16,000 for m I really hoped to purchase a 2020 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro from this dealer, but came away very disappointed. The sales people offered me $16,000 for my trade in only to raise it after I told them that they were quoting $10,000 less than KBB. Later that same day, I called Avondale Toyota and without even going to the dealer was quoted a price that was more than $11,000 less for the same car. This is the second time I have had a bad experience trying to buy a car from this dealer. Be sure to call around, because this dealer really tries to play games with their customers. With all the information available today, do they really think customers are that stupid? More
