I called him up and within a few days, he called me with one. Power Nissan lowered the price of the vehicle, a 2004 Chevrolet Aveo. Bob did not get a commission for this sale, but he put the customer ahead of profit. If this is the way Power Nissan does business, I will, I shall recommend them to all my friends. All talk and caused more problems! I dropped my 2005 Nissan Murano off for work to trouble shoot a problem with oil burning and a rattle. The service guy at the drop off desk was horrible. Acted ignorant and didn't even look me up in the computer until I instructed him to do so. Finally checked me in after another employee came up and engaged me in conversation - knew about my car and the issues my husband had called about. My car was in for 2 days and over $500 - oil changed and other parts and pieces replaced, but the A/C suddenly quit working within hours of leaving. Took it to a Jiffy Lube and was told that the A/C system had gotten nicked and system wasn't holding pressure (meaning it had a leak). I called the dealership and brought it back in to be fixed. Was told that the A/C was holding pressure fine. I argued and they went back to testing the car. Next call tells me that they see that the car's A/C quits after 15 min but they need a few more days for their A/C specialist to check it. Another 2 days and the car is "done".... Guess what? A/C still broken, oil leak has now developed because the plug was threaded wrong and stripped, original issue of rattle on acceleration and oil burning never were actually addressed. More

I originally researched a Nissan Leaf online throughout the entire country because I live in Montana and do not have any EV options locally. Bo responded to my internet inquiry immediately with a friendly email response offering his assistance in any way whatsoever. Then followed up with a quick phone call to say hello. He is very honest and straightforward and did not play any games. He followed up on all my questions and concerns and we made a deal on a used 2013 Nissan Leaf SL within hours. We then locked up the deal with a deposit and I boarded a plane first thing the next morning. Bo kindly offered to pick me up at the Portland airport (1 hour away) and drive me back to the dealership to pick up my newly purchased vehicle. He is extremely outgoing and friendly as well as knowledgeable about his product line. I admit I have never bought a car this way before, but he made me feel like this was a legitimate transaction and safe environment. Once we arrived at the dealership, he walked through all the gizmos and gadgets on the Leaf and was able to explain everything to me and how it all worked. I plan on referring as many people I can to Bo, both locally in the Salem/Portland area as well as everyone I know around the country, since in this day and age we can do business over the phone, the internet, and in person. Why limit ourselves??? Thanks again Bo and Power Nissan for the best experience I've ever had purchasing a vehicle. More

Bob Lacey did an outstanding job of finding us exactly what we were looking for not only in price, but also color (Lava Red -- oh my how gorgeous!), and getting the options we wanted installed for us. His knowledge of the product and great personality made us feel comfortable and confident that we had picked the right vehicle and dealership. I would highly recommend that anyone shopping for a Nissan should check with these folks before spending money anywhere else. I am 54 years old and this was the best car buying experience I have ever had including cars I witnessed my parents buying when I was a kid. I first called and Spoke to Alex Santana. He quoted me some very good prices so we decided to drive over the mountains and come take a look. When doing this in the past with other dealers, once I walked in the door, the deals were not as good in real life as I was told over the phone. Not the case with Alex and Power Nissan. I was offered the same good prices in person as over the phone. We even wanted a different color than the advertised cars. Alex gave us several choices every bit as good as the low priced cars in their news paper add. He was very personable and not pushy at all. I kept waiting for something to slip in and make the deal get expensive but I was pleasantly surprised to complete the whole deal and Alex did all he could to keep the price down and get us the options we wanted. We did spend a little more than the cheapest car in the Dealer but that was because we decided at such affordable prices that we could ad a few extras. We bought the car from Alex but I must also note that his associate Miguel showed us around the evening before when Alex was off work. He understood completely that I promised ALex that I was going to buy from him. Even so, Miguel took time to show us some cars and made us feel very welcome. We also worked with William Galvez at signing of the contracts. He was very friendly and helpful at walking us through all the paperwork. I also spoke on the phone with Byron Galvez and he was very helpful and answered all of my questions. The whole crew in the sales department was very very nice to do business with. One couple shopping even left their 15 day old baby with the Receptionist while they took a test drive. That should give you an idea how comfortable people feel when doing business with this Dealership. If you are tired of going home feeling like you just took a beating after purchasing a car then I suggest you call or stop by Power Nissan. At least give these guys a chance to beat any price offered anywhere else. You won't be sorry. Robert Graydon More

Look no further than Power Nissan of Salem" This has not been my experience. I scheduled an appointment to have recall work done on my vehicle. Dropped it off as required first thing. When I didn't hear from anyone by just before closing, I call only to be told that they are not quite done and hopefully it will be done by end of the next day. When I ask what the delay was I am told they had a great deal of walk-in work and my was warranty work. The inference was that it was less important. When I point out that is unacceptable, as the recall notice only said it would take three hours they offer me a loaner car. When I arrive at the dealership to pick up the loaner, I knew they would need proof of insurance which was in my car. I peek in the bay windows no car. I walk to the back lot and there is my car sitting right where it was dropped off the previous day. It was not done because it had NEVER BEEN STARTED. At this point I am more than a little irritated and ask to speak to the GM. Since it is not quite 8:00 I wait for him to arrive. I speak to a man name Drew (not even listed below) who assures me the car will be done that same day. I ask for a business card which he has none. Instead he takes the someone else's card and writes his contact information on the back. At the heart of it the dealership does not appear to have consistent leadership and does not seem to be committed to a longer term relationship with it's customers. I would not recommend to anyone that they use the service department at this dealership. More
