Overdue recommendation for working with Mark Appel at the Power Ford service center. Have had horrible experiences in the past in other ABQ Ford service centers & more recently in Virginia with Ford, which Power Ford service center. I called Mark about my 2012 Ford F-350 because my Turbo was going bad, my EGR cooler needed replacing, and it needed a complete fluid flush after being stored for two years. The service department did exactly what I asked them to do without charging my hundreds of dollars on diagnostic checks that revealed to me what I already knew, even though there was no check engine light at the time. My only minor complaint was the timeline, which nowadays you just can't seem to get around with diesels. Seems no matter what I do I can't get any real maintenance done on the vehicle w/less than 3 weeks of in-house time. I was hoping that scheduling the appointment a couple weeks out would allow them to get parts, etc., but I still ended up waiting for some gaskets and then got bumped in priority by other diesels that had been there longer (when my parts came in). Seems like that is the deal nowadays though, and Mark Appel/Power Ford did an amazing job of keeping me up to date, getting my payment easily processed, plus I could track the progress through their text-app, which I loved! Will 100% be back to work with Mark and the team at Power Ford. They made every step of the process easy and comfortable. More

This was the best vehicle buying experience I have ever had. I had been looking for a specific Bronco for a few weeks and often dealt with hook and reel tactics from my home state dealerships often throwin had. I had been looking for a specific Bronco for a few weeks and often dealt with hook and reel tactics from my home state dealerships often throwing me a line claiming they had the vehicle I was searching for only to receive a window sticker that was the wrong trim or had me rush to grab the vehicle in the wrong color or pressure me to buy used. I decided to use cars.com so I could search out of state and found a couple of good dealerships but not the right inventory. By Thursday, I did one more search and found the exact color, height, and trim package I wanted at Power Ford, NM. I sent in an inquiry to see if the vehicle was available and received an email within the same hour informing me it was available. I then contacted the dealership and spoke with Jason who was very friendly and helpful. He passed me on to Joseph Wiltgen who was able to send me the window sticker and photos of the vehicle to confirm it was what I was searching for. He took 3 hours out of his day to help me secure the vehicle by walking me through the application process, instructing me how to send in trade in vehicle photos, check my credit, and submit driver's license, all OVER THE PHONE! He was honest, kind, caring, and fun to work with. He was willing to hold the vehicle for me until I could drive the 6 hours on Saturday to purchase the Bronco. I have never had a more smooth, fun, and easy vehicle buying experience. No one was there to pressure me into the wrong Bronco or try to sell me a used SUV. The environment of the dealership floor was warm and inviting. Several people were there in the middle of purchasing and it all felt laid back, and the salesmen were attentive to everyone. There was no stress or needless waiting or walking in circles to get through the buying process. Joseph was just as attentive and caring in person as he was on the phone. When we arrived, we were welcomed right away, and they sent Joseph to us. He allowed us to test drive the vehicle alone and then sat with us every step of the way until we were driving it home. We met Justin, who graciously helped us with the Ford Pass app and took our photos, and we worked extensively with Jess who was our finance expert. He was patient and kind while I had to deal with two credit bureaus to unlock my credit and was thorough in explaining our loan terms. He never made us feel rushed and never tried to throw in extra charges. Every team member we met and worked with from the first phone call to the keys being handed to us treated us like family rather than another business transaction. It was such a positive experience, that I will only buy my vehicles from Power Ford. The dealerships we worked directly with in Colorado have a lot to learn from Power Ford. Joseph is an amazing person, and it is obvious he loves his job not for the money he can make but rather the dream car he can put you in. He was honest from the start and never passed me on to someone else when I had questions. I am forever grateful for him and his team. And I am truly amazed at the well ran company Power Ford is. A bonus for this dealership is that they tint all the windows and offer bumper to bumper extended warranty. They also gave me top dollar for my trade in (2020 Kia Sedona).
