Power Ford

I would never buy a vehicle from Power Ford, nor would I ever use any of the services from the Power Ford mechanic shop or the parts department. I purchased a 2014 Ford F150 FX4 back in June of 2023, all s ever use any of the services from the Power Ford mechanic shop or the parts department. I purchased a 2014 Ford F150 FX4 back in June of 2023, all seemed like business as usual, but the sale seemed rushed and was not professional. Immediately after the purchase of the truck there were mechanical issues that was going to need immediate attention. I was told by the sales guy at Power ford that the truck I purchased from him had went through the Power Ford mechanical shop for service and inspections and that everything was top notch. Which it was not “Top Notch”. I took this truck to a private mechanic where was able to see these issues for myself in person and here is a list of issues that what was found and repaired correctly at my expense. 1. Missing retaining nut on passenger side lower ball joint. 2. Damaged upper ball joint on passenger side. 3. Damaged upper ball joint on driver side. 4. 1.5-inch front suspension spacer lift incorrect causing damage to both the Left and Right side front upper control arms. 5. Reversed 3-inch rear lift blocks causing drive line to have a 2-inch gap from transmission to where the drive line seats into the slip yoke for the transmission. 6. Driver side front axle not correctly inserted into front spline assembly of front wheel hub causing the 4-wheel drive not to function on the front driver side and damaging the axle shaft all together. 7. Rear suspension U bolts were incorrect and the retaining nuts that held them on were threaded on by roughly 6 to 8 threads. Retaining nuts for U bolts were flush at best with the U bolt and not protruding. 8. Reverse camera flickered and didn’t work and had to be replaced. I was told in confidence that this particular truck was brought into the Power Ford shop and had the full suspension swapped out with another truck that came into the lot as a trade in so that this truck would have a nice stans and look better than factory. Not only was this unprofessional but these issues on the truck could have cost me and my family our lives as this truck was unsafe to drive and be on the road but I believed in the sale guy and trusted in the name of Power Ford. I paid $27,000 for this truck and it cost me more than $5,000 just to make it safe to transport myself and my family. Not only do I distrust your salespeople because of this, I distrust the competence of the mechanical team at Power Ford who worked on this truck because the work was not Ford quality and with missing hardware as well as installing damaged components which put people’s lives at risk. NOT GOOD I have reached out and spoke with the sales associate several times where things were promised to be fixed or helped with and no follow through what so ever . More
