A blue Saab for my wife. I had been looking for the Electric Blue with blue top Saab convertible for some time. I saw the car on Auto Trader and went to the Portland Volvo web site. Had an online chat with CoDy Sequin, very easy to work with. After the online chat I called CoDy and we talked price, told they were a true price store. The price was fair so I gave him a credit card to hold the car. The next day I received on overnight pack from Jason Shaw, business manager, with all of the needed paper work with clear instructions on all I needed to do. Sent it back with the included overnight pack. In a few days I received it back with all I needed to collect the car. They held the car for a month so my wife and I could fly back from the other Portland, Portland Oregon. We were picked up at the airport and met by Ralph D'Angleo with everything ready to go, car was spotless, full of fuel. We left the next day for our cross country road trip. It seems that Portland Volvo and CoDy are geared up toward internet sales. Everything went off like clockwork. My son also picked up a Saab CV on the east coast from another dealer. His internet experience was not good. If I were closer to Portland Volvo I would be taking our blue Saab as well as our Saab Sportcombi to them for service and repair. Try them you will like them. I honestly am absolutely floored with how well I was treated at Portland Volvo. This was, by far, the absolute best car buying experience you could ever ask for. I am definitely going to be purchasing my next car when I decide I need a new one. They are worth every second of that long 11 hour drive. They make you feel like they actually care about you and not about just getting you to buy a car. Most dealerships, you feel like you're a fish surrounded by sharks. But not here. Here they treat you like family, and help you in every way imaginable. So I highly highly highly recommend purchasing your next car from Portland Volvo! You will NOT be disappointed! More
I bought a 2013 S60 AWD. My Sales Person Ralph was wonderful to work with. He did not rush me, he went with me for 3 test drives and once the car was purchased he made sure that the car was ready and wonderful to work with. Today we went to volvo to discuss our failed transmission. We were told that although volvo knew it was faulty they simply wished to put the problem behind them...behind them but not behind us. transmission. Details - 6 years ago we purchased a volvo for $42,000 and today after driving it for less than 90k miles we were offered $1,500 for a well maintained volvo SUV. They all agreed; manager, sales manager and Mr Davenport the sale associate that the transmission had a history of per-mature failure but they want to put the problem behind them, not behind us behind them. $42,000 - $1,500 = $40,500 divided by 6 years equals almost $7,000 a year for a used car with a giant "we don't care about you" on the way out. WE are a middle aged professional couple and were not allowed a test drive without a salesman in the back seat! Halie communicated almost daily with us, as our buying experience continued throughout our Florida vacation. Jason was our business manager and helped us close the deal on our 2010 V50 Wagon. He also was very knowlegeable and friendly. We could have wrapped everything up in 30 mins but we sat and continued talking with Jason socially because he was just fun to be around. Two hours later(haha) we were driving home with our new car from Portland Volvo! This car buying experience far-exceeded any that we have ever had in the past 22 years and we look forward to continuing our service re- lationship with Halie, Jason and the gang at Portland Volvo.
