Back again with good reason! I stopped into Portland Volvo a few weeks ago on a Friday night at 5PM just to see what the used inventory was. I was immediately greeted by the very I stopped into Portland Volvo a few weeks ago on a Friday night at 5PM just to see what the used inventory was. I was immediately greeted by the very pleasant receptionist who remembered me. I had dealt with Micheal Pierter and the great service folks for several years. I had switched car brands a few years ago and decided to come back and buy another used Volvo if I could find what I wanted. Ralph helped me immediately, answered my questions, let me take the pre owned car for a ride and was happy to stay a bit later on a Friday night. I called Ralph first thing Saturday morning to tell him I'd take the used car that we had looked at the night before and that I'd be there around noon to finish up. I came back and Ralph and the gang had me out of there in 60 minutes flat! Fine and honest people, very thorough, great service department and once again, they did what they said they would do. Like most, I am apprehensive and a little anxious when it comes to vehicle shopping, as many salesmen can be pushy to just try and close a deal on wh Like most, I am apprehensive and a little anxious when it comes to vehicle shopping, as many salesmen can be pushy to just try and close a deal on whatever might get them a good commission. I am happy to say I was elated when I did not run into such an individual, but instead met Ralph D'Angelo. I informed Ralph I was not ready to buy and I was just shopping around at the moment. I know a lot of sales people would immediately drop a customer such as myself, as I wouldn't provide instant sales.To my delight, Ralph did not do that. He has to be one of the nicest, most conversational people I've ever met! He asked me questions about what I was looking for for features my desired purpose (family vehicle / new / pre-owned / etc), and if I was looking for a ballpark monthly payment as he could direct me to any deals that met my preferences that was within my budget. I liked that he allowed me to steer the conversation with my preferences and budget, instead of trying to push me into what he wanted to sell. We ended up chatting a bit longer and found out we're both big fans of the same NFL team. Ralph is one of the nicest people I've ever met and when I'm ready to purchase a vehicle, I will definitely be coming to see him! More
