I said I would do it. so I drove to volvo on a saturday afternoon, had the pleasure of working with Ralph D'Angelo and Matt Anderson, and at the end of the day drove the car, the pre-owned nifty volvo v60 home! it could not have been easier, it could not have been more pleasant - everyone at this dealership was fantastic, professional, dedicated to getting us in the right car and making the trade happen that day. no angst, no dickering... good questions and conversation and a fabulous car at the end of the day. I even bonked him on the head with the automatic headrests while trying to work the seat heater, and he handled it like a champ! He mentioned a couple of times that we deserved a luxury experience and I truly feel we got that! The customer service was above expectations. Before I popped in that first Friday afternoon, I was nearly 100% sure I was buying another Lexus RX350. After my experience with Ralph at Portland Volvo, the decision became very clear. The car was in tip-top shape, exactly as described online, and Elias immediately came out to greet me. When I told him I was "just looking" and stopped for a brief visit, he did not pressure me whatsoever but did give me all the help and information I was looking for in a very professional and courteous manner. Elias did follow up with me, and I ended up purchasing the car, which I love! I was unable to make the trip back to Portland Volvo, so Elias and Dylan delivered the vehicle right to my home, some distance away. When I arrived at the dealership I wasn't sure I was buying a car that day, I ended up leaving 2.5 hours later with the car I'd seen online.
