Yesterday, I took it in to have the breaks checked and I needed to have the rear break caliper replaced again. I found that difficult to believe since I just had it replaced a year and a half ago. I asked why it wasn’t covered under Ford’s 2 year parts warranty. The service writer at Porter Ford told me it wasn’t covered under warranty because the last time when they replaced it, Porter Ford used an aftermarket part from Autozone instead of a genuine Ford Motorcraft part. I asked why they would do that and then charge me a premium price for the work and after checking with everyone there they had no explanation...just that it wasn’t covered. Obviously Porter Ford is putting on aftermarket parts in their service work, charging a premium price for dealer service and then when the cheap parts fail, you paid a premium for assuming they were genuine Ford Mortorcraft parts, and then they tell customers it is their problem. A complete business service scam of the worst type. After doing business with them for 7 years I will never go back. Buyer beware. More

He was very informative and nice. He went through everything with me and I knew exactly what I was getting. He also went over tire car with me. I had no questions once I left there. More
Fantastic Experience I was coming out of a lease and the folks at Porter Ford helped me find a great replacement vehicle for the price I wanted. They didn't pressure the I was coming out of a lease and the folks at Porter Ford helped me find a great replacement vehicle for the price I wanted. They didn't pressure the decision and my family and I actually spend a couple of days thinking about the decision. Once the decision was made they prepared the car for delivery and it looked better than coming off a shore room floor. I will point family and friends to this dealer simply because in this world it's hard to find a car dealer I can say I trust to "steer" my family in the right purchase. More

Horrible Management My sales person, Christopher Mann, was excellent. I would recommend him to anyone. However, Management is horrible. I needed documentation from the My sales person, Christopher Mann, was excellent. I would recommend him to anyone. However, Management is horrible. I needed documentation from the service dept to correct an error Porter had made. I waited about 15 minutes for Rich Bosak to be available (not my complaint). When he was available, Jason Clare (General Manager) went into Rich's office and they sat there discussing a vacant position in service for 35 MINUTES while they knew I was waiting. If I hadn't needed that paperwork, I would have left and never gone back there again. Customer Focus is not a core priority for Porter Ford Management. Absolutely appalling and extremely disappointing. More

Eve I recently traded my leased Ford Escape in for a 2017 Ford C-Max. I have been dealing with Porter Ford and salesman Christopher Mann since 2014. Every experience I have had there has been fantastic. Chris surpasses each transaction to make sure it runs smoothly from start to finish. Everyone there is so kind and professional including Salesman Chris Mann, Service Manager John McGinnis and Manager Tom Guido. I will continue to deal with them in the future and I would highly recommend them. They are the best! More

Awful! Very unhappy with Porter Auto Group. We have purchased numerous brand new vehicles from both Porter Chevy and Porter Ford. Each time it was a hassle. Very unhappy with Porter Auto Group. We have purchased numerous brand new vehicles from both Porter Chevy and Porter Ford. Each time it was a hassle. Usually with the titles. We had an issue with a 2008 Trailblazer in which the tag and title work was not done on time, resulting in getting pulled over in PA several times, two brand new Cobalts, both with title issues. The first time the tag was the wrong one for the car, then when I went to sell it, we found out that Porter had entered the wrong VIN number on the paperwork. The 2nd Cobalt they took it upon themselves to title and tag it in DE to an old address that they had on file, even though we had signed paperwork showing our PA address and the correct forms filled out to register/title in PA. They said "they wouldn't accept my ID, so this is how it got done." Did not bother to contact and discuss with my wife or I. Then there was a new Ford Focus ST... they dragged their feet on that too. Did not get my tags in time, so I ran around for nearly a month with expired plates. Now the latest... We repurchased a vehicle that we had traded in (I know... sounds crazy) and that was a nightmare from the beginning. From the attitude of the sales folks, the management, and the guy in which we signed paperwork with. They stated that it had new brakes, and a bunch of other new parts. It in fact did not. I argued this and was given some money back. Then we move from PA back to DE. Nobody has record of a title. Evidently it was sent to the wrong lien holder! A bank that we do not do business with, nor have we ever heard of. What were we told by Porter? "That was what was written on your file folder..." How was/is this our fault or problem?! So, I take several days from work to make calls, drive to Wiggins Auto Tags (who was no help either...) only to get nowhere. I finally call the bank who supposedly has the lien, and should NOT... and they remove it. Porter then takes it upon themselves, after myself sending several angry emails with NO reply at all, to call PennDot and add THEMSELVES as a lien holder ILLEGALLY, after I already spent days clearing this up myself, and it only further delayed things. They lied over and over about where the title was, what was done with/to it, etc. I have access to the PennDot website, I have contacts there, as do I at the DE DMV. I have dealt with buying/selling cars for a long time on the side. I know how these things work, and even confirmed it with folks at PennDot and DE DMV, and even after explaining this, they continued to try to lie about everything from how long the title will take to who is at fault. My wife and I caught them, and called them out, on numerous lies. They didn't care. The final outcome? The lien was magically removed, my bank got me the title within 3 days, and I have a clear title in my hand. Not before my tags expired though. They did send some money back from the fees that we paid them, but it does not pay for the days lost from work or the over 25 documented hours that we spent dealing with this problem alone... not to mention the previous troubles. The moral of this story is BEWARE. More
