I explained that my wife and I were in the "exploring" stage and we had heard very positive things about the Renegade from our neighbor. Tom showed me various models, all the while fully explaining our options. His knowledge was considerable, and he was never pushy or overbearing. I was impressed enough to return with my wife several days later for additional information. While not fully committed to purchase a vehicle that day, we were confident, after only a few minutes with Tom, we were confident that this would be our dealership, and that we were convinced that we would be able to negotiate a very fair deal with a person like Tom Portuallo.. As it turned out, We were offered a fine price on our trade-in, and the ensuing price of the Renegade was so reasonable, that Tom's prediction that we "could drive off the lot today with a new Renegade" came true.
