Laid back car buying experience I had been following used Boxsters online for awhile and had a good feel for current prices. I was looking for a certified pre-owned one and I had fo I had been following used Boxsters online for awhile and had a good feel for current prices. I was looking for a certified pre-owned one and I had found a number of competitively priced vehicles within my budget and meeting my requirements. Porsche of Delaware had my top choice and they had just reduced the asking price $1,000. I called to schedule a test drive. I told John Mase, the salesperson, that I would be driving about 2 hours to get there and that I should be there about 2pm. When I arrived he had the car outside running and ready to go. We took a test drive. He explained the features and options as we drove. We came back in, he explained the warranty and what was done to the vehicle to qualify it as certified pre-owned. He showed me the original list price of the vehicle. We negotiated a lower price and within a half hour I had purchased the vehicle. I felt that I paid a fair price for the car. The whole experience was rather laid back and comfortable. I had been to other up-scale non-Porsche car dealers in the past and sometimes I would get the feeling that they were doing me a favor by selling me a car. I would definitely recommend Porsche of Delaware if you are interested in a Porsche. I have not had the vehicle serviced yet, so I cannot comment on their service department. More
