Closing out the financial part was easy with Jon Budd handling the finance part - I have good credit and he was able to find financing better than that advertised! I'd recommend this dealership, Paul Marion, and Jon Budd highly if you are in the market for an Audi or VW. More

It's just an overall discomfort like you're in a shark cave when at a dealership. That's the reason I ran that old car into the ground before being forced to just go get a new one. My husband and I decided on the 2012 Passat SE, black on black with as many luxury features as we can afford. Enter Dealerrater.com and off I was, with my best friend and her husband, from NYC to Flemington NJ because of their high dealer rating. I was very nervous and unsettled for just having to deal with a car shopping situation at all. And it didn't help that my husband couldn't take off from work so I had to do this on my own but the Flemington crew eased my worries right from the start. Off the bat - the atmosphere at Flemington VW - greetings and genuine smiles from everyone! They give you time and space to walk around without charging at you. I decided to sit down with Paul Marion to discuss the Passat. Being a "rookie" in car sales is something that Paul doesn't hide but his enthusiasm for his new profession and confidence in the products he is selling is totally genuine. His easy going personality disarms and his knowledge comforts you - he tells you everything you thought you'd have to pull and yank out of a typical car salesman. He's fast, talking and thinking - we were on the same page - getting me into my dream Passat! And was it some dream - I found out on the test drive cruising the winding back roads with no traffic lights. The best was a long drag where we had some fun with Tiptronic - somebody should've recorded our excitement, hah! We were done with the deal before you know it - and all within my budget. And all without that stupid "customer information sheet" that other dealerships make you fill out as soon as you enter through the door! Also, at the end of the deal negotiation, Doug Mathewson, the sales manager, introduced himself to seal the deal. When I hear sales manager I picture the most arrogant car salesman in the building. Doug came through unobtrusively as the total opposite, again - most professional and genuinely friendly fellow! Next, we were on to meet Jon Budd, the finance manager, and finalize the numbers agreed upon. Although I have no debt, I have no credit cards and an unfavorable credit score to say the least, but Jon explained everything thoroughly and we found a way to make the deal go through. He explained everything in detail, patiently, thoroughly and professionally. Unlike most finance managers, Jon took the time, yet was very organized and efficient. Did I say thorough? The man knows his stuff and helped me understand it all. Unfortunately, the Passat SE with power options wasn't available in Flemington so the search for it commenced. Paul was honest, it could take up to 3 months. I dreaded it. Not to make the long story even longer, it took 3 weeks. Black on black with all power options was located in Delaware. A trade was negotiated and our Passat arrived to Flemington in time for Christmas! I have nothing by compliments on Paul's enthusiasm, communication and follow up. He was most accommodating salesperson I ever dealt with. He even thought of the details - like the red bow placed on the car and parking the car near the entrance the morning I arrived to pick it up. When I saw it, gleaming, facing me with that red bow, I almost swerved into the curb staring at it. Overall, two trips from NYC to Flemington is no joke but it was all worth it and more. Once the lease ends, I will continue my car leases with Flemington VW. If our future budget allows an Audi I'm super excited that Audi is part of the Flemington dealer family. My best friend and her husband who drove me to Flemington initially have also decided to lease from Flemington VW as soon as their current Honda lease ends. The day I picked up the car people I didn't even deal with were all very warm and friendly, just the like the day I walked it "to just look". I worked thru a few VW dealerships within NJ, but it was the warm, friendly atmosphere and non-pushy service that brought me back to Flemington VW, Audi, Porsche. I felt that Jason answered all of my questions, not only in the office, but also on the test drive. He did not over call my phone or e-mail but kept tabs just enough to give me updates on the vehicle type that I was trying to locate. While the dealership did not have the trim I originally wanted, they were able to offer a very fair price on an upgraded trim that I was interested in.
