Great Service and a great deal on a 2011 Honda CR-V EX-L 4 wheel drive. Hello Bill Page Honda and Browns Arlington Honda, I said DO NOT call me, didn't really matter as their offer was not in the ball park. Aubrey did a very good job at responding to my emails, not lightning fast but none the less, at a very good rate. The dealership itself is decent sized, not large, but I was told within the next 18 months they are moving further north into MD. It was a very personable buying experience. We had been to another Honda dealership in Alexandria--Landmark Honda, but wow, no personal experience there, must have been 10 rows of desks, with 4 desks in each row, side by side! No privacy there, but again, your buying a car and just want a great price. I must say Jay Bhanot at Landmark was great to deal with through emails, always fast to respond, but in the end, its price what truly matters and what landmark was offering was fine, but turned out to be more than what we paid. Enough to retire on, no, but nothing to sneeze at! Landmark figured $30 was beating the competition (best offer at that time, what a difference 12 hours makes!!) which I guess it is, in this case Pohanka crushed the competition!! What I truly enjoyed about Aubrey and Pohanka was they followed my instructions and gave me what I asked for. Some dealerships would just tell me to bring in my best offer and they would match it, or possibly beat it! Sheehy Honda was one of those! Yes they originally gave me a quote (which was HIGH) but then would only match or beat what I brought to them! What is beating the price I asked??? They could not tell me. $1 is beating the price!! For me, it is the person that does the work that should get rewarded! And in this case it was Pohanka. They did what I-- the customer wanted!! Sheehy just kept saying--well OTHER customers like it that way! Well, guess what, I do not like it that way, I'm the one buying the car, I want to be happy and feel like a valued customer, I got the feeling that was NOT going to happen at Sheey. As with the majority of people the lowest price matters and that is what I got at Pohanka--at least thats how I feel, but does 1 truly ever know??? I actually told them I need this price--which was much lower than what others had quoted me--and told me that it was their lowest----and actually walking out on landmarks showroom after they told me what was their lowest,and Pohanka said, ok, plus we will subtract another $100! Sign me up!! Aubrey was actually out of the dealership when we got there picking up our CRV, so the sales manager made us feel at home. He felt very genuine! One felt at ease, one felt valued and not just a check book walking into the store!! We actually talked about other stuff than cars. All the staff that we met were friendly. If they walked by you, they said hello. We were very impressed. Dealership was a fair sized, not huge, nor small. The sales desks were not close together, so one did have some privacy (in 1 corner, they were somewhat close, but not as close as other dealerships!) We got a price we felt very comfortable with, and great personable service. We didn't get any of that pushy talk one gets from the finance people--extra warranty, paint protection, etc etc. Simply said no thanks, and that was it. I guess the only downside of the whole process was that it took about 1.5 hrs to get the car ready, but does one truly want to rush them? I was Ok with them taking their time, plus they ordered pizza! Just missing the beer for a truly good time. In conclusion, we had a great experience with Pohanka. Right from the beginning they listened to what we wanted and did exactly that, and gave us what we felt like was a great deal. I have bought 6 other new cars and this was by far the best transaction, yes I'm sure tomorrow morning I will have some buyers remorse,lol did I buy the right car, right color,lol but I know that I got treated well at Pohanka, so that helps a lot. They listened to what I the paying customer wanted, and they delivered; sounds so simple to do, yet many other dealers don't! All I can say is that our experience with them has been extremely positive. More

Larry spent time showing the cars and both Larry and the President were both diligent in finding the right car, right color (make up your mind Mrs. Williams -- gray or blue), with a great deal for me. This is my first Honda (Chevy owner since the 70's, except for the time, 4 years, I owned a Cutlass) and I am very satisfied with the color (blue/gray) and specifically the car itself. Thanks to the whole Pohanka staff who came outside to congratulate me on my purchase. I was very surprise and it felt real good. What a great Pohanka staff! Yes, without hesitation, I would recommend Pohanka. Again, thanks for your patience and professional customer service. We got your name from the USAA buying site. Gregg called less than five minutes after we requested informations. My wife and I wanted a 2011 Pilot and went to several other Honda dealers and this is the only one that told "it" like it was without the BS schtick (This is all we can get, we're losing money on this de other Honda dealers and this is the only one that told "it" like it was without the BS schtick (This is all we can get, we're losing money on this deal, ...). Ryan matched the best price we had been given, gave us extra options (running boards), and gave us the mopsty for our trade-in without trying to make more money by under pricing it like the other dealers did. When I am looking for a new car again, I will make sure I come back here first. More

The dealership offered the lowest price and lowest interest rates. The time required to complete the sale was fast even though there were many other customers. A nice showroom with lots of conveniences for the customer's comfort. All details of the warranties and options were thoroughly and clearly provided. I have purchased 4 Hondas over 30 years and the dealership and especially Devona Hunter is at the top of my list now. More

He was extraordinarily nice and straightforward, let us take the car home for two days, and took countless phone calls with questions from us. He knocked the price down a bit and did everything he could to make us feel comfortable with the deal. I couldn't believe we bought the car so quickly, and I attribute it to Gregg's straightforward, efficient salesmanship, as well as Barbara in the financing office -- she was great, too. I was moved by the special price and incentives for a new Honda Ridgeline. At first I thought the posting was a little too good to be true but then I engaged in communications with Aubrey through email. He made the process very simple and answered all my questions. I did all my negotiations through email and it was the easy purchase of a new vehicle I've ever been involved with. Aubrey was very polite and professional from start to finish and he delivered my vehicle as promised. The entire dealership was very polite and professional and I would certainly recommend them to anyone I know. My overall experience with the staff made my purchase that much simpler and this is the way car buying should be. More
I had been shopping for a Honda Pilot for about two months and had been to many dealerships looking at the different models, amenities, and prices. Once we finalized what model we wanted it was a matter of finding the right price. From where we live(Rockville, MD)there are five Honda dealers within 20 minutes. Pohanka Honda is almost 55 minutes away(the complete opposite side of DC from us)and not very convenient for us to get to nor easy, however after it was all said and done; Aubrey made it well worth it. He was extremely professional, upfront with any and all fees, quick to get back to me and made the whole process fun. Yes, a car salesman that made the transaction fun! Not too many places or people you can say that about but from one salesman to another, he has a bright future in whatever he does. I highly suggest him to anyone in the DC metro area no matter how long the drive. It is worth the peace of mind knowing you're not dealing with the stereo-typical car salesman. More

He explained everything about the vehicle we purchased, and readily answered every question that we asked. He ensured the process went quickly which resulted in very minimal "waiting time".
