I purchased a Jeep Gr Cherokee on Jan 18, 2013 from Plaza. After my test drive and paperwork I drove off the lot and to Wawa about 1/10 mile and the Jeep wouldn't restart! They took it in and said it w Plaza. After my test drive and paperwork I drove off the lot and to Wawa about 1/10 mile and the Jeep wouldn't restart! They took it in and said it was the battery/wiring to the battery which was repaired & battery replaced. Then soon after that the engine light came on. I brought it back in to Plaza and my sales guy said "its just a button that needs to be reset." On my drive home after they did not locate a problem the light came back on. Then it was off & on numerous times along with the oil light and another light. I have been in contact with the manager Al McCaffery and he has assured me they will fix the problem. He even gave me a warranty that Ford will cover 12,000 miles from the purchased milage that any Ford even out of state will acknowledge. I brought it to them on Tuesday (today is friday) and I called them to check the status twice. They sent it to a Dodge/Jeep dealer due to the engine light and they are replacing the torque converter. I have expressed my concern of this vehicle to the manager and my sales guy numerous times. They both have known that for the past month I have been looking to get out of that troublesome vehicle and into something else, however, they do not have a comparative SUV on the lot that is in my price range (since I do not want an Escape). I asked if they could trade with another dealer to get me into an Envoy which was my last truck that I had for 9 years & loved, but apparently they do not want to lose $ on that kind of trade, nor will they take it back without purchasing another vehicle from them. Unfortunately, I am now waiting to see what happens next. I will write another review upon completion of our transactions. More
We went to purchase a C-Max that was in stock that we had initially seen with a different salesperson (Mario) about 10 days earlier. Mario was not there the day that we went to purchase the vehicle, and a different sales person (named Frank) worked with us. We found him to be rude, arrogant and petty. I stated that we would do the deal if a certain amount was taken off the bottom line price, he appeared to agree, went off to do the paperwork, and when he returned the amount in question was not taken off the 'finalized' paperwork. We had to bring in the manager to straighten out the mis-understanding and even so, they did not want to honor the commitment. The dealership as a whole may be ok, but this particular salesperson (Frank) is impressive (with the exception that he did have a reasonable knowledge of the vehicle.) More
TOOK MY VAN IN FOR A RECALL SERVICE FOR A REPLACEMENT TORQUE CONVERTER, WHILE IT WAS THERE ,THE MECHANIC BROKE BOLTS ON THE VAN CAUSING THE REPAIR TO DELAY 2 EXTRA DAYS. WHEN IT WAS DONE I ARRIVED TO PI TORQUE CONVERTER, WHILE IT WAS THERE ,THE MECHANIC BROKE BOLTS ON THE VAN CAUSING THE REPAIR TO DELAY 2 EXTRA DAYS. WHEN IT WAS DONE I ARRIVED TO PICK UP THE VAN AND IT WOULD NOT START. THEY TOLD ME IT WAS GOING TO HAVE TO GO BACK IN THE SHOP FOR DIAGNOSIS. LATER IN THE DAY PLAZA FORD CALLED TO TELL ME THE MECHANIC LEFT A TRANSMISSION SENSOR LOOSE WHILE PUTTING IT BACK TOGETHER. ALL IS WELL NOW AND READY FOR PICK UP AGAIN. I TOOK VAN HOME WHERE IT SAT FOR ONE FULL DAY , I TOOK IT TO THE LOCAL STORE AND WHEN I WENT TO COME HOME IT WONT START AGAIN. I HAD TO GET A TOW TRUCK TO BRING HOME. I SHOULD OF HAD IT DELIVERED TO PLAZA , BUT I DIDNT HAVE ANY TYPE OF PRIOR COMMUNICATION SO I DIDNT. I CALL THE DEALERSHIP ON THE NEXT DAY AND GET A MANAGER ON THE PHONE . HE LISTENED TO MY STORY FOR ABOUT TEN SECONDS BEFORE INTERUPTING ME SAYING THE DEALERSHIP DID NOTHING WRONG AND THIS WAS MY PROBLEM. EVEN THOUGH IT WOULDNT START AFTER THE REPAIR WAS DONE 2 DAYS PRIOR. NOW THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO ASSIST IN ANY WAY . HOWEVER THEY WILL LOOK AT IT AND DIAGNOSE FOR A FEE . THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF MILES DRIVEN SINCE I PICKED UP THE VAN IS LESS THAN 40 MILES. WHY WONT THEY TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY TO HELP. THE VAN HAS NEVER EVER NOT STARTED THE ENTIRE TIME I HAVE OWNED IT , AND I PURCHASED NEW. THIS GROUP OF GOOD OLE BOYS WORKING AT PLAZA LOOK OUT FOR EACH OTHER BIG TIME , AND THEY HATE THE CUSTOMER WITH A PASSION. I AM SICK OVER THE TREATMENT I WAS GIVEN. THEY HAVE ME BACKED AGAINST A WALL AND THEY ARE IN CONTROL . IM FILING A COMPLAINT WITH THE B.B.B More

Today, I have no breaks and after being towed to them they say we need a SHADY SERVICE Yesterday we took my truck in for some routine maintenance. Today, I have no breaks and after being towed to them they say we need a new brake booster...$800. I didn't need a new break booster yesterday when they looked at my breaks. You think that is a coincidence, an accident created by them, or just fraud? I am just thankful I realized I had no breaks this morning before my children and I were on the road with other innocent people. Also, Salvo auto parts has brake boosters for $85 and the shop down the road says they will fix it for $165. I can help but think I am purposely being overpriced. Plaza Ford has lost our business. I went in to the parts deparment to purchase parts for me 2007 f-250 and I spoke to the parts Manager Mike about what I needed. After I gave him all the info he quickly said they were not available. I asked where I may get the parts I need and he said he didn't know and " it is what is" you are going to have to go else where. No help on parts or where I could get an aftermarket part. How do they get the parts for the service guys? This guy is a joke and I will go else where from now on. Al Packer here I come. More
