My husband and I were working with Platinum to purchase a Jeep Wrangler. We had talked to them over the phone for several days and finally had a great deal made. We do not live in Terrell, so I wanted to mak Jeep Wrangler. We had talked to them over the phone for several days and finally had a great deal made. We do not live in Terrell, so I wanted to make sure that the deal was done before we drove to the dealership. We supplied pictures and a vin number of our trade and they gave us a fair value for it. After agreeing and submitting the credit application we drove to the dealership to pick it up. They did not have the paperwork complete when we showed up and had us test drive the vehicle. Once the test drive was over, I signed the deal with the finalized numbers that we had agreed on and they were going to work to get our interest rate. It took 30 minutes for them to come back and told us that they could not honor the numbers they had given me. We wasted a day working the deal, driving there and then waiting for them to tell us they couldn’t honor the deal that they had me sign. Very disappointed in this dealership and would not recommend using them. Do not offer someone a deal after inspecting their car, running their credit, having them sign paper work, and then back out. Shady business. More
