Greedy and no allegiance to their customers! ! In March 2023, I took my car in for oil change and it got totaled while in the garage. Knocked off lift by a runaway golf cart. I was a loyal custo ! I was a loyal customer to this dealership since 2007 and they wouldn’t even offer me an acceptable deal on a replacement car. Offered only to sell me a car at “cost”. Called serevice dept to ask if the steering coupler on my '13 SantaFe was covered by warrenty. Provided milage etc and after a time to check, was told that it was covered. Made an appointment to have the ste '13 SantaFe was covered by warrenty. Provided milage etc and after a time to check, was told that it was covered. Made an appointment to have the steering coupler replaced, waited two hours and was told that it was not covered, but given an itemized bill for needed repairs of $ 1054. Previously had the steerring coupler replaced in another Hyundai, for $201 at an independent repair shop. These folks are apparently desperate. Will not buy another car from them! More
Was sold a car they damaged in transport. No issue there - but they have made no attempts to resolve the issue, or find a replacement. The maintenance shop had been waiting weeks to hear back from the dealership to begin repair work. More
Dishonest and unnecessary service recommended I took my 2012 Tucson in to have the Intake Manifold Control Runner repaired. It was stuck in the closed position. This slimy dealership recommended replacing the whole intake manifold system. They said that un-sticking this could lead to other issues. After research this was simply untrue and unnecessary. It would have cost $1200! And they charged $112 to diagnosis the issue which I told them when I pulled up (we have a FixIt device that already diagnosed the problem). So they charged me $112 to tell me something I already knew. A rip off and dishonest. DO NOT USE! Go to a local mechanic if you want quality, fast, and reliable service. More
Sold me a car they couldn't get. Lookedfor a few weeks for a 2020 Palisade SEL loaded, with AWD. Called Devonte in Pinehurst. He called back said he could get the car I wanted from an Lookedfor a few weeks for a 2020 Palisade SEL loaded, with AWD. Called Devonte in Pinehurst. He called back said he could get the car I wanted from another dealer. Car was exactly what I wanted - SEL with all options including AWD. Being Red Burgundy was a bonus. We negotiated a deal (straight sale, cash).and they demanded $1,000 deposit, paid with MCard. I wondered how they could get a car from a dealer when a nearby dealer and one in another state said dealers wouldn't let them go. I expected the car in two days - 4 days later no car. Then he called, said he had a logistics problem, it may take another week. Drove the 50 miles so I could confront him. When I arrived a Red Burgundy SEL was in the showroom. Devonte finally admitted he couldn't get the car, BUT right beside me was this SEL, but not AWD. At that point I wouldn't buy a hubcap from Pinehurst Hyundai. Finally found one at Bob Mayberry in Monroe. May have paid a few dollars more, but they treated me with respect, not like I was an old fool. I finally got my deposit back a week later after contacting the general manager. More
