He was friendly and shared really interesting information about the newer models that made me begin thinking about the possibility of a new car. He followed up in a professional way, without being overbearing at all. My husband and I went to several other dealers to price cars and returned to talk to Matt this past week. When we arrived, he showed us exactly what we were looking for at a competitive price. He was extremely professional, courteous, and helpful in every way possible. I went to Pine Belt Subaru with the expectation of taking a 2012 Outback for a test drive. I found a car on the lot I was interested in and was met outside by Gil, my salesperson. He was friendly and very knowledgeable on the Outback. I took the test drive and really liked the car. I had done a lot of research ahead of time so I knew what I was looking for. I didn't expect to be buying a car because I figured they wouldn't give me anything close to what I was looking for on my trade.I gave them the opportunity to appraise my car with little expectations. I was surprised at their first offer. It was much higher than I expected, but I knew that my trade was in mint condition and a very desirable vehicle so I held out for more. After some negotiating we came to an agreeable price. It was a good experience for me. I'm not intimidated by these kind of situations like some might be. I also negotiated a good price on a 5 year 100,000 mile warranty, and on top of everything else, I got a free Garmin GPS unit. The overall experience was very good and I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a good selection of Subaru vehicles. More

Purchased a new Subaru after 5 or 6 visits over a 6 month period of visits to the dealership. The fourth visit was when we were lucky enough to speak with Dave. Very helpful and laid back. The price of this automobile was more than I wanted to spend but we worked it out. I purchased my first car this past Tuesday at Pinebelt Subaru. I walked in to the dealership with my father and mother on hand to help me make the right decision. I'm 28, but I know nothing about cars or negotiating! We met with Ron Sikkema, and he was ultimately responsible for handling the sale of the car to me. It was freezing on the day that we went. Ron spent as much time as we needed walking around outside looking at the different models and providing valuable insight as to the benefits/drawbacks of certain Subaru models. I can't speak highly enough about Ron. I was nervous that whoever I worked with was going to pressure me into a sale that I wasn't comfortable. Ron never pressured me to do anything. He made suggestions based on what I told him I needed from the car. He never told me to buy a specific model or push me to upgrade to the premium or limited options. My whole family agreed that he was just so comfortable and easy to work with. A VERY nice man who genuinely wanted to see me leave with the right car. And I did! I purchased a 2012 Subaru Legacy, and I am ecstatic. Ron was very thorough in helping me through every step of the purchase process (pricing, finding insurance, etc.) I believe I got a great deal on this car. My mother and father are both going back to Ron in the next few months to buy Subarus as well. We are a subaru family, because they really are such great cars. They loved working with him as much as I did. I would highly recommend working with Ron Sikkema if you're in the market for a new car. John Mailot handled the paperwork end of my car sale. He was extremely professional, kind, and friendly. He is also very knowledgeable about the Subaru brand so he has good insight to provide. A very nice young man. John and Ron made a great team. This includes the salesman Gil and the manager who did not remain behind the office door, playing "good cop versus bad cop", but he also dealt straight with me.
