Just a follow-up: shortly after I posted this review and was contacted by a couple managers at Pine Belt Subaru to clarify the issues with the contract I brought up in my initial review. They assured me that the out-the-door price would not have changed even if I didn't get the extended warranty. I suppose it's a side effect of the current car-buying process since I won't know if I really could have gotten more of a discount, but I still appreciated the follow up. Maybe if the line item on the contract said "$0.00" instead of five-hundred-something it wouldn't seem like I paid for something I didn't need. Still, for the follow up and the clarification, I'd be willing to change my rating to 4 stars, but I don't think I can change my rating.
