Poor negotiation Came in with hopes to buy a pre-owned Subaru. Joe wouldn't negotiate prices. Other dealerships in the area had much better pricing and Joe would not price match. End result, we took our business elsewhere (Lester Glenn) and got a great deal on the car we actually wanted. Two weeks later, Joe decreased the price of the car as they still have it in stock. Lesson learned..I will only recommend Lester Glenn going forward to anyone I know who is in the market for a Subaru. More

Only issue I had was at the time of the purchase, the Pine Belt Cars website and the Pine Belt Subaru website had different fine print. The dealership went with the print on the Pine Belt Cars website, which threw me off a bit. Our salesman, Mark Hoffman was kind and light-hearted. We were able to work out a deal quick and easy. Overall a good experience. Would have given a 4.5* if possible if it wasn't for the website issue. More

I wish I had waited for the finance guy because I don't know who did the math and would have answered by questions better. First, The price quoted ended up NOT being the price on my purchase sheet, just the deal sheet - they add in $695 for their rewards program and get a whole new number which is confusing. The salesperson pointed out that registration is separate. Yes, it's common that registration and fees are not in the quoted car sale price. However when I asked on the price sheet the $595 fee, I said that is high for registration. He basically didn't respond. He never told me that it didn't even include the registration, that is only their doc fees. Registration is yet extra. I didn't find that out until I got the call 3 weeks later that my registration was in to pick up and I owed $165 more. After I got home and looked over the papers, I realized I had been overcharged. When I contacted the salesperson he basically told me they hold to a OTD price on a sheet , but it only has 3 numbers (your quoted price for new car, trade in and OTD (out the door) with no other math! The sales manager Ryan reviewed the issue, and he figured out they did overcharge me and says he is sending me a refund, but haven't received it yet. And in respect to the $595 doc fees, he said they make up for in their pricing, so know when you agree to a price on a car, add in $600 for doc fees plus registration, not the $300 average from other dealers.
