Refusal to address known issues Vehicle has issues that I either received ridiculous explainations for not being able to fix or “Honda doesn’t have a fix for that” explanation. Service manager was late and gave lack luster explanations. Will no longer recommend Honda of Springfield PA or buying a Honda due to recent quality and craftsmanship deficiets. More
Frustrated Service Advisor Mike Disalvo was persistent in telling me what I needed repaired on my car rather than, what I could afford. He wouldn’t listen to anything I tried to say pertaining to my car repairs & finances. He wouldn’t give me the total amount of my bill. He just said, “it will cost thousands of dollars.” I asked him several times how much the repairs would cost without the tires. Once Mike stated he was too busy and hadn’t totaled up my bill yet. I felt like I was railroaded into buying tires. I felt under the hood repairs was more important at the time. I would’ve came back to purchase the tires my next paycheck. I had $1,000.00 to spend on my car for repairs. I had to use $689.00 on the tire purchase alone. As a result, I had to take out a loan to get the major repairs done so that my car would be dependable & safe on the road. I was also told I may want to buy another car rather than pay thousands of dollars for repairs. I was talking with a family member on my phone when Mike approached me concerning my repairs and bill. Because he wasn’t listening to me. She came to the dealership to speak with Mike. She also had to ask him many times for a total price with and without the tires. Mike was trying to force me to purchase your most expensive tires. I believe at that time they were $108.00 each. Several of your customers that were there at the time agreed with me and was telling me where I could go to purchase tires at an affordable price at a later date. I was also advised of how to order tires online cheaper and bring them to the dealership to be put on. Another customer also stated, Mike had waited on her as well and she wished she could’ve gotten someone else. I had a very frustrated visit to your dealership on Saturday 03/30/19. I will be taking all my car repairs & auto purchases to Mainline Honda. Sorry it had to come to this. I can’t believe that Michael Disalvo is a Service Rep Advisor. The only advice he acknowledges is his own and he’s very unfriendly. I would never recommend anyone to Piazza Honda. I came into Piazza Honda with $1,000.00 for repairs and left out with 4 new tires and a loan debt of $1,900.00. That was definitely not my intentions when I came in. I still believe this could’ve been resolved a better way without me ending up in debt. But, I’m not a Financial Advisor. It could’ve resolved in a win, win conclusion. I am very regretful to have came to your dealership. I attend a church with a membership of 4,000 people. I would never recommend anyone of them to Piazza Honda. More
Great service but..,, I received a call from James saying he hadn’t done any work yet because he was waiting for me to call him back regarding my extended warranty. I don’t have an extended warranty so I tried calling back numerous times, being put down on hold(without my permission) which is Custer service 101. Can’t get him on the phone, I’m at work myself trying to make time for this between meetings. Finally I have him paged. He gets on and tells me that my car is there for some electrical codes and wants to go over my warranty. I tell him I brought it in here for an oil change and inspection only. He proceeds to tell me I’m wrong and that it’s written on the envelope with my signature. I say I signed no such thing and am now concerned that he’s about to do something to my car I didn’t authorize. I tell him again, every time getting more and more frustrated. He tells me my wife must have put it on here. I don’t have a wife. I get really angry at this point and his response is “wow”. Unable to accept that the angry former customer on the phone is angry for a very obvious reason. Finally...xxxxing finally he tells me he thought I was Brooks McDonald even though he called me by my actual name several times. I run my own team at Comcast. This guy wouldn’t survive on my team. I don’t think I can come back there after that. Lots of places do what you do. More
My worst customer service experience ever!!!!!! I was emailed a coupon for a free oil change, so I brought my Honda Accord in for an appointment on Saturday (3/23) While waiting for my car to be pu I was emailed a coupon for a free oil change, so I brought my Honda Accord in for an appointment on Saturday (3/23) While waiting for my car to be pulled into the garage, I a saw a person who seemed to be in charge of the mechanics looking at the coupon that I gave to the person behind the counter. I thought nothing of it, until shortly after my car was up on the lift, he called me into the garage and said he would not complete the oil change because the screw or plug on the oil pan was not the original and he didn't know if he could remove it without striping it. I told him that the original screw was replaced recently because it was leaking. I also told him that my regular mechanic has changed my oil several times with the existing screw and he never seemed to have a problem, nor have I experienced a leak since the original leak was fixed with the current screw. I can not believe that they mechanics could not perform this work - a simple oil change; really?!? He obviously saw my coupon and didn't want to complete the job at no charge. That's fine - then just say so. Don't give me a lame excuse an insult my intelligence!! In addition, this person did not apologize for wasting my time, and spoke to me in a rude and condescending tone - right from the start While in the waiting room, I told this gentleman that I was going to provide an review of my experience and he responded loudly in front of everyone around (employees and other customers that he was going to tell everyone about his experience with me. Unbelievable!! This was embarrassing and a complete waste of my time. Ironically, the coupon I received was offered as an attempt to regain my business for service, which I might have considered if the experience was favorable. Just so you are aware, my wife and I have been repeat customers at your Honda dealership, purchasing 4 of our last 5 vehicles at your facility - going back to when you were located on Township Line. I will actually be in the market to replace my current Honda Accord in about a year and I will never return again to give you my business. Instead, I will be going to Main Line Honda. Although this is further drive for me, I would rather give them my business in the future. In addition, I have other friends that have purchased at your dealership and I am discouraging them from ever going back for sales or service. Trust me, I am committed to getting the word out as much as I can about how horrible your establishment treats their customers and I am certain I will dissuade others from doing business with you in the future.
