Used car We purchased a 2016 Honda Civic last June and I brought it in for an oil change. While I was there the service guy told me it needed a break fluid dra We purchased a 2016 Honda Civic last June and I brought it in for an oil change. While I was there the service guy told me it needed a break fluid drain and change. A few minutes later he came back to me and said that the rear breaks needed to be replaced. My care is only 7 months old to me. He said that when they received the car, they never did a thorough inspection of the car, so the rear breaks were put on for free. But the break fluid should have also been for free. This is part of their multi point inspection and it slipped through their service department. Now I'm wondering what else they forgot to check. Honda always holds themselves to a higher standard, but this time I feel they failed me and my family. I had a Dodge caravan for 11 years and it never needed its break fluid drained and changed!! Plus I was there for about 3 hours!! It wasn't the fault of the service guy, so I will not use his name and get him in trouble, but I do think whoever FIRST inspected the car back in June of 2018 should be held accountable, if he's still there!! More
