I bought 4 new tires for my 2022 Honda Pilot. With a cost of over $1K, wouldn't you think that the tire caps on the newly-purchased valve stems would be OEM's, but instead were all different?! I With a cost of over $1K, wouldn't you think that the tire caps on the newly-purchased valve stems would be OEM's, but instead were all different?! I even had one green cap, indicating that that tire would be a nitrogen-filled tire (which it isn't). Also, not one of those tire caps matched any of the other tire caps at all! My husband noticed this right away once I got home, and he went and purchased for me new tire caps so that they were new AND matching! On 3/26/24, I came in for an oil change. When I had the oil change they also did a multi point vehicle inspection of my vehicle. According to the paperwork I received at that time, my front brakes measured at 7mm, and my rear brakes were at 6mm. When I picked up my vehicle after getting the new tires installed on 4/20/24, I had a multi point vehicle inspection this time as well, and on that inspection paperwork, it stated that all my brakes were at the measurement of 8mm! How can this be, since I haven't had any brake work done on my vehicle? I have trusted Honda my vehicle previously without worrying about the workmanship on it. I will be more wary in the future.
